Book a hotel near Camel's Hump State Park, Vermont

"This is a great place to relax, recharge and refresh your soul amid bucolic and peaceful surroundings. There’s a spacious deck with a stunning mountain view. The master bedroom features a huge picture window overlooking a deep, wooded ravine with a hidden brook (and we think we heard the whooshing sound of a waterfall down below). The home appears newly renovated and is spotlessly clean. We’ve stayed at four Vrbo properties and this was our favorite. HEADS UP: One morning, our navigation app led us to turn right from the home’s driveway, drive briefly up the steep hill and turn left on Dowsville Heights Road. We quickly reached a point where the road was not maintained, and our Toyota Corolla Hatchback could no longer continue the route. We managed to do a k-turn, but the sound of the car’s underbody scraping hard ridges in the untended path alarmed us. Unless you’re driving a vehicle that can handle rough terrain, stay off of Dowsville Heights Road."
