"Such a pleasure to stay at a hotel with top quality staff, furnishings, and room amenities. Although located in an active part of the city, inside the hotel and especially the rooms it is fairly quiet. Parking access is convenient. The public gardens across the street are a lovely spot to soak up floral beauty and wander."

"When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome."
