The house was booked for a total of 11 folks including my special needs son for a family reunion at my uncle’s house in Milford PA. Upon entering the house, you had to walk up 4 steps to the kitchen. The urine smell from a pet was still in the air. Spider webs, dirty walls and a sign saying “do not use oven” were the first things you seen when entering the kitchen. I was little upset but still proceeded to unpack groceries when I seen the ants on the table, countertop and floor. I contacted the property manager for cleaning supplies. He apologized for the house not being cleaned and stated it is hard to find good help. He also advised someone will be to service the air conditioner. So I had to give the house a good cleaning beginning with the mouse droppings on the pantry floor and in between the fridge and cabinets. The bathrooms were ok but I had to sweep and mop all the floors in the house due to pet hair. Arriving late in the evening, I did not notice the air wasn’t working in the front of the house. The next morning we all awoke to the hotbox, The front of the house heated up as soon as the sun rose which made the tv room and the kitchen dining area extremely hot. We were unable to really cook because of the heat. The worse part was the 2 front bedrooms also had no air, so the property owner advised us to sleep in the basement. It was very uncomfortable, and I feel they were not honest about the condition of the house. It needs work.

Great house and wonderful host. Generally house is clean and very nice, but Kitchen needs a thorough cleaning and skillets are unusable.

Spacious and comfortable

Our family gathered for a memorial celebration and the house was perfect for our weekend together. Large open and well-stocked kitchen, beautiful outdoor setting, comfortable living room and 4 very roomy bedrooms…all on one floor. Everything was clean and in good condition. Individuals ranged from 83 to 13 and we all enjoyed the space. Thank you!
