Some wins and some misses
This is a property best suited for families with young children. We were 8 people: parents + 3 of our adult kids and their partners. Although some aspects did not meet our expectations, we had a lot of fun and on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give the experience within the property a 7. My comments are specific as some aspects may matter more or less to a guest.
Wins
- the unit was large, spacious and comfortable with a fantastic view overlooking the beach, lots of space! It has a nice feel and layout.
- the second level was a bonus with a large table, sofas, bar area (however there was no bbq)
- the pools are lovely and well maintained
- the pickleball courts were great and provided hours of fun although note that they wanted to charge us for their use; the host however quickly took care of this matter and we were able to play without charge
- the food in the restaurant was very good
- the service in the restaurant and to the unit was excellent
Misses
- we would have appreciated receiving check in instructions 24hrs in advance; instead of sending multiple emails and calling Vrbo several hours before our arrival
-the location is at least 45 minutes from la
Punta where the action is; the setting however is beautiful
- the road accessing the property is long, slow, bumpy and unpleasant - be aware if you are planning excursions or visits to the town
- taxi service, private driver is expensive although easily available
- the property itself lacks design sensibility and aesthetics; itâs basic and feels cheap; I would not consider this âluxury or high endâ
- there are an insufficient number of chairs and umbrellas at the beach and pool and there is no food or drink service in these areas
- the furniture in the unit would benefit from some attention and certain items require repair or replacement tsuch as the outdoor table and chairs
- although the unit sleeps 8, two of the rooms are small, lacking good natural light, the 3rd bathroom is tiny; perhaps better suited to children than adults
- the unit would benefit from more hangars when I requested more from host/manager and front desk I received none
- the kitchen could benefit from more tools such as serving bowls
- the cleaning service was not great ; the team arrived @5/6pm when we were back in unit and cleaning was minimal; we were always lacking fresh towels
