Very clean, bedrooms like on pictures. There is no one in the B&B (automatic check in and out) and breakfast is served in another B&B.

This property has lots of potential and just changed hands, so i cant be too harsh. It is an old home and has all if the charm (and creaks) that goes with that. Breakfast was fine, but they would bebnefit from better inventory management. Investing in new towels, sheets, toiletries would give it an upgrade.

Nice Place but No Customer Service

The place was lovely, breakfast was made to order with a number of choices, bed was comfortable, and everything was extremely clean. The only negative was the absolute lack of customer service. I had an issue with the lock on my door as soon as I arrived. Called twice, both times was told someone would get back to me. Sent two texts, no response. Never, ever heard from anyone, even after speaking to the woman serving breakfast. I was there for two nights, plenty of time to respond. Absolutely unacceptable to not receive a response of any kind.

Nice place...as long as you dont need service.

Property was lovely, room and breakfast area were were very clean. There were a lot of breakfast options. The only thing that would stop me from staying here again is the complete lack of any customer service. Weeks before my reservation, I called to add a night to my stay (no way to do it online). Left a message, no one ever got back to me so I eneded up just making a second reservation. That sould have been my warning sign. I arrived at the B&B at 7:05 pm. No issues getting in, room was ready and lovely. Half an hour later I went to leave to meet a friend for dinner. Locked the room door with the key given, but could not get the key out of the lock. Tried numerous times but was afraid it was going to break off in the lock. Called the number given for customer service. Gentleman said he wasnt n the property but

Generally Disappointed

A well located propert. On the positive side, the serves breakfast was excellent and the service was cordial, but overall, there are several deficiencies. The exterior, including the porch and its furniture aren’t well kept and the parking arrangements are inadequate and cramped. The suggested alternative is on an insecure, busy main street. Our room, #3, was small and cramped for two people with luggage. The television remote was incomprehensible. A table lamp was missing a bulb and neither of us could get hot water in the shower. The owners need to address these and other issues before rhey deserve a rating above 8.

TJ was awesome! He went above and beyond to accommodate us due to the cook not being available this weekend. We got upgraded from a very nice room at the Brunswick (our original reservation in Room 9), to the beautiful suite at their sister property, Union Gables, in the Henry suite. The room was immaculate, with a full working kitchen, bar area, king size bed, a fully working soaker tub, a gas fireplace, a dining table, TV, and working ceiling fans. The area itself has tons of charm, with many restaurant to choose from (and yes TJ recommended several great options) all within walking distance, as well as Congress Park, and the Saratoga State Park (we visited the Automobile Museum). If I ever need to stay in the area again I'll be back at either of these properties. Great experience.

Terrible service

Clean and nice room The service is terrible. The portion of the breakfast are very small. I was supposed to received instruction to get to my room that I never received, I sent an email to the manager at 9pm and I never get an answer. When I call, it took a long time to have someone that could answer me, and they told me that there is no code on the door, but there is one. They told me that they cannot hold a bad securely for the day for me.

We were very disappointed that we were unable to stay at the Brunswick. Prior to our stay, we were emailed about breakfast not being served and asking us to select a room at Union Gables instead. We were told the room would be an upgrade - it was not - the bathroom was small, the shower was old and had spackle dried up on the shower handle; it was disappointing since we really were hoping to stay at the Brunswick. We did not realize until we got there that there would be no breakfast served at Union Gables as well. We were told by staff that they do not do breakfast during the off season - if were knew that we would have stayed at a hotel or another B&B that offers all its amenities even during the "off season". We have stayed at both Union Gables and The Brunswick before during the off season and never had such issues. Unfortunately, we will not return.

On out way to Saratoga we got a call asking if we would change locations from this one, Brunswick B&B, to Union Gable which was just down the block. The person speaking to us said it was an upgrade but the room seemed the same. Anyway the Gable was lovely and charming. The couple who worked the morning were helpful and friendly. My husband and I were a bit disappointed in the person who welcomed us. There are no 24/7 staff on hand and he told us to text him if we needed anything. At night we returned to our room about 9:00 and text him that the remote battery for the fireplace was dead. He never responded and our room got a bit chilly during the night. That aside, the place was lovely.

I had to change the dates of my reservation last minute, and after reaching out directly to The Brunswick they were very accomodating and made the change. Breakfast was incredible and the variety of gluten-free options was a huge bonus! The staff was very pleasant. It was quiet and we felt safe. Parking was easy and it was just a short drive to the local shops and restaurants. These aren't deal breakers for us but may be for others: the king sized bed was two twin mattresses pushed together and not super comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was ok, but not great. The tv channel selection was terrible. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and were happy with the accommodations. No complaints to management! A great place to book if you aren't planning to spend a ton of time in the room.

I thought everything about it was perfect for my stay. The bed was very comfortable, I had everything I needed, cookies and sweet rolls being available was nice, woman serving breakfast helpful
