ABOUT THIS SPACE
Tucked away on four private wooded acres in the heart of the Catskills, our renovated 1920s cabin is the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy nature. Spend your days by the private saltwater pool, soak in the year-round hot tub, gather around the fire pit under the stars, or simply relax in a hammock surrounded by the trees. Although you'll feel like you're in another world, you're just minutes from hiking, restaurants, tubing, fishing, swimming holes, and several of the Catskills' best ski mountains.
Our goal has always been to create a place where families and friends truly spend time together. The cabin is thoughtfully updated, comfortably furnished, and filled with the little extras that make vacation easy. While we've completed many renovations over the years, this is an older cabin—not a newly built luxury home. Like many older homes, some cosmetic imperfections remain, but we work hard to provide a clean, comfortable, and memorable experience.
The cabin features convenient one-floor living with four cozy cabin-sized bedrooms, one full bathroom, and an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area.
The cabin features convenient one-floor living with four cozy bedrooms, one full bathroom, and an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area. All four bedrooms open directly off the main living space. We encourage guests to review the photos and floor plan to make sure the layout is the right fit for their group.
Each bedroom includes a memory foam mattress, sound machine with nightlight, USB charging ports, and storage for clothing.
During June through September, each bedroom has its own window air conditioner. There is not a separate AC unit in the living room. Because all four bedrooms open directly into the shared living area, leaving the bedroom doors open while the AC units are running helps cool the adjoining living space. Fans are also provided.
The kitchen is fully stocked whether you're preparing a holiday meal or a quick breakfast before heading out for the day. You'll find pots and pans, a blender, electric hand mixer, traditional coffee maker, French press, olive oil, salt, pepper, spices, coffee, tea, sugar, agave syrup, and many other cooking essentials.
The private saltwater pool (open approximately mid/late May through September) sits about 100 feet behind the cabin at the top of a gentle hill, creating a peaceful setting surrounded by nature. We provide lounge chairs, umbrellas, pool towels, floats, children's swim toys and swimmies, coolers, sunscreen, bug spray, bug bracelets, makeup wipes, Poo-Pourri, and other thoughtful touches that help you spend less time packing and more time enjoying your vacation.
Guests have private access to the entire cabin, hot tub, pool, and property. The small additional buildings pictured are private storage and utility buildings. One of them was originally the property's historic outhouse many decades ago and has since been converted into a fun game shed.
Please Note
• This is an older cabin in the woods. While we continually maintain and improve the property, some cosmetic imperfections remain and are part of its character.
• Electrical service in this region is above ground, so brief power or internet outages can occasionally occur during storms. They are usually restored quickly. We provide board games, cards, books, and a battery-powered lantern just in case.
• Cell service can be limited depending on your carrier (AT&T generally has the best coverage), but we have fast Wi-Fi throughout the home.
• During the winter months, an AWD or 4WD vehicle is strongly recommended if snow is expected.
• Parking is available for 3–4 vehicles during the winter, with additional parking available during the warmer months.
• Because you're staying in the woods, it's completely normal to occasionally see wildlife, insects, spiders, or ants around the property despite regular pest control.
Most importantly, we hope you'll slow down, unplug, and enjoy everything that makes this little corner of the Catskills so special.
