Great good value option for the busy summer season in Cooperstown. Very clean, lovely staff, efficient easy breakfast options (no cooked items). No frills, but pleasant and comfortable. Thanks for a nice weekend!
Hayden creek was such a breath of fresh air.
When we drove up, I was a little taken back.
Coming from a big city this isnât what you expect.
One we walked in you really feel the small town feel.
It was refreshing and so very welcoming.
Beware though, the sulpher was a little stinky in the water. But by no fault Hayden creek! The rooms were spacious and loved the breakfast in the morning. Walked behind the Inn and the creek was so peaceful.
We really enjoyed staying here. Our room was so clean and the bed was super comfortable. Austin, the owner was so nice and accommodating. It was nice having the continental breakfast as an option. The morning we checked out we grabbed a quick bagel and english muffin before hitting the road. We would definitely stay here again.
OK, first an important note: I planned a trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown and I made a reservation at the Hayden Creek Inn for a single person. My son and grandson decided to Join me, but the Hayden Creek Inn was sold out and my room was too small to add two cots. I called the owner (Austin), who super-graciously gave me a room with two queen beds in his other, nearby, property called the Meadowlark Inn. So this review is really about the Meadowlark Inn, but much of it applies to the Hayden Creek Inn because they share the same super-friendly and helpful owner.
