On a road less traveled, this private Catskill Mountain Retreat is just minutes to skiing, hiking, fishing, swimming, restaurants, clubs, boating, tubing, etc...

Just two and a half hours from New York City. 14 miles to Hunter and Windham Ski Resorts. 18 miles to Belleayre ski Resort, 28 miles to Plattekill ski resort. This house is in just the right location. Close to all yet located on a quiet country road away from other houses. With property that borders state land, you can relax next to a scenic stream just 50 feet from the property. This modern three bedroom ranch has all the amenities.

This property was amazing! It was perfect for our family group. The kitchen is spacious and updated, there was plenty of space for everyone, and the game room downstairs was a huge hit! The house was clean and obviously well cared for. The adults enjoyed the hot tub, and the kids loved the games and the outdoor pond with lots of frogs. Rick is a great host, and very easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay again! Thank you Rick!

Fun Catskills Visit

Nice property with plenty of amenities to host us and our two grandsons. Comfortable beds. Pool table and air hockey table in the basement were very popular. Pretty well stocked kitchen. Hot tub was nice but most of the jets weren’t working. Quiet setting but close to Prattsville and Hunter. We had a nice stay.

Super fun, kids loved the game area

Kids (6, 8, 15) loved the game room, hot tub was great, and it was clean and well kept. We did have trouble figuring out the door but thats about it. Owner is very good with communication. Totally recommend it!

Perfect base for ski weekend

The house was clean and cozy and a perfect base camp for a weekend of skiing at belleayre. It’s about 20 min from the mountain and had a cozy couch to relax and watch a movie on after a day on the slopes with kids.

Perfect Getaway

Cozy Clean mountain House

This house was the cleanest house I have rented. It made my husband and I feel right at home. There were plenty of seating areas inside and out. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Rick was a great host and very communicative.

Great Holiday Getaway

This home was perfect for our family weekend trip. It was clean, had plenty of room for us, and was conveniently-located close to Hunter Mountain and local restaurants. Rick was easy to get in touch with and was very responsive. The family especially enjoyed sitting in the hot tub as the snow fell.

Was perfect for kids of all ages. Well kept, clean, organized. Gorgeous property. Owner, Rick, was available throughout our stay for any questions, and knowledgeable about the area. Perfect stay

We stay at this property every year. It’s in a perfect private location and has a hot tub. We brought our dog so the enclosed deck was perfect. Hunter only 15 minutes away and hiking and west kill brewery not too far down the road. The house is spacious and clean we will be back next year!

Mini - moon stay

We loved our stay at Ricks place! We went after our wedding to get away and unwind for a couple days. The house was great! Lovely view, hot tub, plenty of space and things to do. It was exactly what we needed and wanted. We were sad to leave and were talking immediately about when we could return to take advantage of the location since we didn’t do much exploring this stay

Fun Birthday

We went just for the 3 day weekend. Our host was nice enough to set up a birthday surprise. Complete with table cloth, signs and other fun stuff. Sadly it rained the whole time. But luckily we still enjoyed the hot tub and the other fun games and activities available at the house. We also drove through the countryside and admired the changing leaves and the nearby falls. The brewpub up the road was wonderful too. With live music and a roasting fire. Even our pup was welcome. Turned out to be a lovely weekend despite the weather.

Keurig Machine & 12 Cup Coffee Pot Huge Fridge Large Dinner Table Adequate Dinner Wear Game Room ---> Foosball, Pool, Air-Hockey, Ring Toss Wall Game, Corn Hole Game Fire Pit Hot Tub Coi/Frog Pond - We Fed them Daily! Awesome River Spot Pull Off in Lexington - 10 minute ride. Bring Your Beach Chairs and Sit in the Clean Flowing River - Our Puppy loved it!!! ( FYI - NO Pic-Nic Tables) KAATERSKILLS FALLS is a Must! There is an Upper Level Access Rd Called Laurel House Rd - Closer to the Top - Short Walk to the Falls with a Breathtaking View!, (.6 of a mile) YOU HAVE TO GO!!!! My 2 Son's and a girlfriend (Ages 27, 28, 29) Hiked Up the Whole Thing - They Were QUITE SORE! (Lots of Large Stone Steps.) FYI Get there EARLY as the Lot Fills up Quickly. CONS - House is Very Close to the Road, However - Hardly much traffic at all, it is a private road. Blind Driveway - But you Can Hear the Cars from Quite a Distance in Both Directions. The Air Hockey Game was Busted on the Sides.đŸ˜„ River Across the Street - FORGET IT, Unless Your Super Athletic and Ambitious! Couch is NOT Comfortable. No K-Cups Provided. Small Bedrooms - ALL 3. Tub was Hard to Get In/Out

Peaceful location to relax

Peaceful relaxing stay in a beautiful area with all the amenities you need , This place had Everything!!! TV in every room, Alexa to play music, Hi speed internet, games , Hot tub , deck with lots of chairs and even a grilling table , fully stocked kitchen , condiments, I could go on and on ! Books Dvds you get the idea . Definitely the best Vacation rental in the Catskills ! Love this house and will definitely stay again even had a Frog Pond
