The property is well maintained and provides all you need without any frills which is why it is relatively cheap. My one criticism is the £50 deposit which remains as pending on your account for up to a week even though it is not going to be retained.

No fuss
Great for what it is, a no fuss stay. Personally prefer a meet and greet over a message of here's your key card, enjoy. Cannot fault anything about the place though, clean comfortable rooms, price is great, would stay again

Basic and functional
Rectory Farm is a short distance from central Cambridge. The rooms are individual with ensuite, functionally basic with ensuite bathroom. We booked two rooms, that were unfortunately not in the same corridor although this wasn't a significant issue. One was generally ok with good heating. The other one however had poor heating and ventilation which had lead to mould on the rear of the curtains. Also evidenced by significant moisture on inside of the window in the morning. We saw two staff during our visit both ignored us. Check in was self managed.
