The Caledonian Hotel
"Well located with beautiful lake view. Bar pleasant and welcoming. Self ordering of beverages and food. While the serving staff were as helpful as I believe they could be, they seemed short staffed. I don’t put any blame on them as they were obviously very busy. A junior employee to clean off tables ..."

The Caledonian Hotel
"Well located with beautiful lake view. Bar pleasant and welcoming. Self ordering of beverages and food. While the serving staff were as helpful as I believe they could be, they seemed short staffed. I don’t put any blame on them as they were obviously very busy. A junior employee to clean off tables would be an asset. Food was ok in bar/restaurant. We saw someone order fish and chips the first night, when we ordered the next night, the fish appeared pre frozen and had a very different appearance. Excellent breakfast. Good service. Plentiful options. Rooms adequate but a bit dated. Bed comfortable. Seems to be a popular spot for tours to stop overnight. As a home base for exploring the area, this hotel is a good choice."
