Reserved a nonsmoking room, it was not!!! The room was so bad that it burned my throat and I lost my voice for a week. I truly tried to make it work. We asked for help but the front desk was very hateful. He said the maid’s cat probably marked the room. Really! I couldn’t stay in a room with that either. There were no other rooms to be had, or so he said. We looked at other hotels to stay at on line, the weather was bad enough we could not drive around looking. We wound up in our car. Then it started raining, then hailing. We will never stay there again. We had traveled in for a funeral and planned to stay another day because we got in so late that night. Instead we drove 5 hours home after the funeral. I wouldn’t want anyone to be exposed to this low quality of hospitality.

The room had some electrical issues with some items not being usable because they weren't plugged in to power. Wiring was a issue in the wall connecting plugs. Breakfast wasn't very good

Like others, I have stayed in many, many hotels, motels, motor courts and roadside parks over my 60 years, but I have to rank this property as the worst that I’ve ever occupied…Thank God that it was for only 1 night. Used condoms, empty cans, QTips, etc under the bed. Mold in the bathtub, huge liquid stains in the seating area of the chair, filthy forearm and hand stains on the armrests of said chair, smelly sink drain/trap, sticky TV remote, wobbly desk that only stood upright…thanks to the wall and adjoining TV cabinet that it leaned against. The entry door appeared to have been kicked-in on more than 1 occasion and the internal flip-lock just flopped on its screws. There was some nice artwork though…an amateur, unsigned pencil drawing of male genitalia on the wall by the sink area was intriguing. Mountains of cigarette butts and fraying threshold carpet greet you at the room entry. Just pitiful. Crappy drywall repair and paint. Generally unacceptable on every level, but the best part is all of the folks randomly roaming around the parking lot all night. Vagrants, vigilantes or other….I don’t know, but I didn’t sleep a wink, for fear of my vehicle being stolen or vandalized. I simply cannot recommend this property to anyone. It is unsanitary, unsafe and not cared for. Spend a few bucks more and stay elsewhere.

Days Inn by Wyndham in Abilene Texas. When we entered the lobby, we were initially ignored and unimpressed by the lack of eye contact & unfriendliness of the Clerk behind the check-in desk. We were extremely tired & had been traveling from Arkansas to California. The room was also unimpressive. Nothing stood out as cared for. I won't say it was filthy, because that's an unfair characterization. I won't say it was clean either, because, I was uncertain if it was truly clean. So again, the cleanliness was unimpressive in it's lack of freshness. The room definitely appeared to have been a D.I.Y. "update" with mismatched, tired, & dingy furniture/bed. The computer chair was absolutely distgustingly filthy most likely a health hazard, I'm not exaggerating. I wouldn't let my little dog up on it until I used one of the "stained white" bath towels. Furniture arrangement? inconsistent & without any clear thought out placement. Old paint that was a far cry from neutral or calming. I wouldn't step on the carpet without shoes on. I wiped off the soles of my sandals with Purel because I didn't want to get the carpet filth into my vehicle. If I wasn't so exhausted we tried to sleep it was difficult due to loud people above us. Who quite frankly seemed like they lived there & didn't care. Next AM, NO HOT WATER & dripping faucet. @ check out we complained & were told they couldn't refund & we'd have to call Expedia, no apology or refund.

Good enough for the money/area

Generally a reliable motel, better than some Days Inn, but still could always stand improvements. Some of the rooms are a bit over-worn and most are really overdue for some updating.

Good for an overnight option...only.

We were told we could check in after 3, so we arrived at 330, and the front desk clerk said that the rooms were not done yet, however, when we drove around there were no Housekeeping carts out and all the rooms were "completed". Once we were able to check in...after 430, the room was Clean, but it was missing the reclining chair (but the table was there), the lamp on the right side of the bed didn't have an electrical outlet, 2 bulbs were out over the vanity and one was out in the restroom. The bed was pretty comfortable, but could be updated. It was a good place for an overnight trip, but I wouldn't stay more than that.
