Someone banged on our door at 1:00 in the morning talking in a foreign language, not spanish. We called the front desk from the phone & our cell & didnt get an answer. We went down to the front desk after the man left & no one was there. We reported the incident to the staff the next morning and we told the attendant was on the phone. We think he was asleep based on the snoring we heard.

Night Attendant couldn't find my reservation thru Travelocity, then claimed we double-booked. I showed the 1 night reservation on Travelocity. He said he didn't care what was on Travelocity. We most likely will look for a different hotel for our multiple stays during November & December.

Female traveling alone with teen daughter…the room felt very unsafe. The lock on the door wasn’t very secure and the screws holding the bar at top were so loose it would have taken little effort to shove the door open and rip the screws off. After trying several tricks to make the room more secure, we were so uncomfortable that we checked out after 20 minutes and found a different hotel 1/4 mile away.

The room was clean and the bed was so dang comfortable. Better than the one I have at home. Parking was so convenient. My only disappointment was that the picture on your website is a bit of false advertising. It shows a suite when in fact it was only a regular room. You might want to update the pictures that will show what you are actually paying for.

Property was not well maintained, and the room appeared to be poorly cleaned. At least the sheets were changed, we knew this because the sheets from the previous guest were left in a bundle on the floor. The mattress was completely broken down on half the bed and there was mold on the wall around the toilet and shower area. I would not say the staff was rude but definitely not friendly. I’ve stayed at other Motel 6 properties before and have been satisfied with the cleanliness and condition of the property but I would stay away from this one.

I felt the room was highly overpriced. I stayed the night the next morning while pulling back the sheets there were several dead crickets in the sheets. I went to use the refrigerator for something and there was an opened can of corn that was spilled. Just overall highly dissatisfied.

Very noisy. Thought they were doing construction in room above me. 11PM and 5 AM. Not pleasant. There was blood on sheets of bed I was going to sleep in. Luckily there were 2 beds. Use some hydrogen peroxide, it is cheaper than bleach.

The floor was so dirty. The bottom of my socks were black from it. The towels were stained. There were dirty towels left in my room. It was extremely noisy because evidently people live there.

Good option on a budget

Booked here after seeing terrible reviews for most of the inexpensive motel options in Abilene. This had the least bad reviews. Nothing fancy, but the bed was comfortable and both the A/C and the WiFi worked. Laminate floors meant no smelly carpet. Even the coffee in the lobby was pretty good. I had lowered my expectations at this price point, but they were exceeded here. Most importantly, housekeeping was excellent. I always came back to a room that had been serviced with the bed made, fresh towels and emptied trash. I've stayed at plenty of more expensive hotels where housekeeping was spotty, inconsistent or nonexistent. If you don't want to — or can't afford to spend $200+ a night, this is a good option.
