We really enjoyed our stay at The Cottage near Acharacle.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Cottage near Acharacle. The accommodation was very clean, cosy, & comfortable with plenty of room. The beds were excellent, the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, and the shower was great after a day out walking! There was so much to do in the area, walk to Singing Sands from the house, walks at Castle Tioram, and cycle along Loch Shiel to Glenfinnan from Strontian, great tearoom at the Ardnamurchan lighthouse and great views over Portuairk and Sanna Bay as well as the islands.Star gazing was brilliant, very little light pollution if any. Saw the northern lights and the milky way one evening! The Acharacle Shop & Post Office had an excellent range of food, including fresh items. Cafe Tioram along the road from the shop served great coffee & cakes!Would definitely come back to The Cottage.
