The waters around Achill are perfect for swimming, surfing and a variety of water sports for all levels.

The Great Western Greenway is a 42km long track for cyclists, walkers and runners which follows the route of the former Achill Island to Westport railway line and is a wonderful way to explore this area of the Wild Atlantic Way.
