Property is amazing, clean, friendly staff, and in a central location in the city. Only down side is on weekends the street adjacent is a party street and a bit gross late night. But otherwise would stay again.

Parking can be expensive as only allow single entry and exit. Mayfair parking allows multiple entry and exit per day. Staff.service at the front.desk very average, but the staffs at breakfast were great.

Clean comfy room

Clean modern room with wifi nice view and desk to work from. Not big rooms but well sized. Bonus with chrome cast to tv streaming. Couldn’t ask for more

Great location and access to main street (North Tetrace) where art gallery, museum, Botanic Garden, other hotels and eateries...But strange access to main entrance via laneway. Good value for type/standard of hotel. Provided good breakfast but only snack menu available other times. Snacks can be ordered but no actual room-service as you need to collect food from bar. Same for dry cleaning - not delivered to your room. You need to collect from bar/reception. This is fine, assuming reduced services because of lower budget facility. Local area: Currently much construction - although not noisy, it is a little inconvenient to navigate. Having extensive experience in hospitality, I would like to commend breakfast staff especially Patrick who was hard working, quiet and efficient, provided excellent professional customer-focussed service, anticipating our needs. Polite and spoke clearly. Also, a lovely young lady, tall with dark long hair, (sorry cant remember her name), also provided commendable service. Tables were cleared and food replenished quickly. Just a minor thing to mention: staff clearing buffet while guests are still dining - its prefetable to do it discretely and quietly. Another excellent ambassador for the hotel was Maddie in reception, who was pro-active, offering relevant assistance. Well spoken, very easy to understand, clearly communicating directions, with friendly and welcoming approach. I would definitely recommend Holiday Inn Express hotel.

Stayed 3 night, it is well situated in the city, the property and the room were in good condition, the room was comfortable, spacious, convenient and quiet. Breakfast was very average to poor, the juice was bad instant industrial , coffee was average, scrambled egg was average to poor, fruits were average ( mostly cut orange and watermelon) there was nothing exceptional or good quality, but still enough to eat. So overall, reasonably good in consideration of the price, might well stay there again!

The property was close to major venues in Adelaide, or else close to transport options. The breakfast covered the main food items and was good value as an included feature. As many guests have commented on, the ensuite bathroom facility was very unusual, having a single swing door to the shower or entry to the ensuite. As a solo traveller this was no bother to me, but couples might prefer more privacy.

Loved the breakfast, staff and area. I also LOVED the moisturiser and shower products. The glass bathroom design is a bit strange and makes for an awkward situation if you are not alone. Being able to see another person showering from bed is uncomfortable, as is seeing the carpet from the shower. The alternating shower door and bathroom door also makes the space feel very public. I would not return to this hotel if staying with anyone other than a partner. Even traveling with my teen child and staying in these rooms would not be appropriate.
