Elegant room, quiet, great location, character edifice that I remember eyeing off ambitiously as a child!. Only stayed one night and found check-in unnecessarily slow - people checking in late afternoon and leaving next morning really just want to be able to get into their room without delay. "Happy hour" in the bar disappointed with a small discount on limited drinks, no nibbles...

The Playford is a lovely hotel. Very comfortable room (New York Loft was superb), excellent breakfast and friendly staff (Bella was most helpful). The hotel has recently been refurbished and the pool/spa/gym reopened yesterday. Highly recommend and will return!

Staying whilst attending the convention centre. Super high quality rooms with sparkly clean bathroom. Had a feeling of luxury. Really enjoyed the room amenity. Staff and service exceptional. Bar was great, good atmosphere. Breakfast option a little compared to price but sufficient.

I found the parking very easy, the staff helpful and very friendly, excellent food in the restaurant, the rooms clean and well decorated with comfortable safe environment. This is our second visit and will continue to come back.
