Very nice. My husband is deaf so his vision works to help compensate. So the biggest opportunity is better window coverings that can block out the light. Difficult for him to sleep with light coming through the blinds. Otherwise very comfortable.
We arrived.in plenty of time to get to our event. They did try to contact us earlier, but I was driving and didnât recognize the number. When we got there the office was closed (5:57) The information for how to get into our room didnât work it took enough time for them to get there that we were unable to meet up with our family. She was very nice and helpful, but we still couldnât make up the time gap.
Lovely stay, spacious, kitchen has a full size refrigerator/freezer and oven, coffee maker etc. Coin operated washer and dryer in the office. Town has many restaurants nearby. Had breakfast next door at the Valleon Cafe each morning.
Property was a little outdated, but generally clean. Rooms are equipped with a kitchen sink, a stove, a refrigerator & freezer, and a microwave, as well as a coffee maker. There is no receptionist on the premises. There is only a sign on the reception door inviting guests to call some number for service. When calling the number as suggested, youre informed that the door to the rooms is unlocked, and the key is inside. To check out, youre instructed to leave the key inside the room before locking it. There is no face-to-face interaction with any personnel. The room doors dont have a security lock of any kind. Afton is a small little town with roughly 2000 inhabitants. Therefore, options to eat out are very limited.
Very cute cabin that was spacious and clean for our needs. The location was great for an overnight on our way to Big Sky. It's an easy walk to town where the shops and restaurants are. Most close between 8:00-9:00. One big drawback was the loud music coming from the building next to us that went on until at least 12:30AM.
Cute little cabins in Afton. My short stay was for both work and pleasure. The wifi appeared stable, thankfully, as I was able to attend my meeting without interruption. There's also good cell service in this town, also thankfully as an important phone call was sprung on me suddenly and my service was shotty at best as I traveled around getting there. The interior looks like the pictures. They are small and the living area doubles as one of the bedrooms. Not far from the motel are some beautiful nature viewing areas, hikes, and lakes. Not my favorite motel/hotel in the area, but I appreciate that the rooms were clean, the area quiet, and the proximity to town and the grocery store were nice.
We didnât meet the owner/manager but they were quick to respond on the posted phone number. The cabin was clean and had everything you could need for a short stay. Plenty of food options within walking distance.
My only (minor) complaint was that all the pillows were oversized and we could not sleep well on day one. We figured something out next day by folding a blanket to the right height.
It was easy to check in, the room was clean and we loved the atmosphere of the whole property. We would love to go back and spend more than just one night there.
They have very nice amenities and very clean. Having a full kitchen was excellent to have.
I stayed in the front bed and it was not as comfy as I would have liked but the back bed seemed to better.
This place was nice and I wish I would have seen this one over the one we stayed in the first couple nights of our stay.
If you have a hip surgery in Afton this is the place to be. Floor level access, clean, the water pressure is awesome, and instant hot water.
