This 2 story turn of the century farmhouse boasts all modern amenities to assure your comfort while maintaining all of the old charm of a historic farmhouse. With living areas, the master bedroom, and a queen bedroom downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. The first floor includes a fully equipped kitchen with a charming breakfast nook. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to serve a gourmet meal. The dining room has seating for up to 8. A cozy family room welcomes you with a warm fireplace, sectional couch, large HD Flat screen TV, plenty of books, games and puzzles. The master is a large space with queen bed, master bath with jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. A spacious newly renovated full bath accommodates the other three bedrooms- one with a queen bed w/sitting area (futon for littles), one small bedroom with queen bed and the other with 2 twins. There is a reading nook on the second floor looking out over the Blue Ridge Mountains. A laundry room completes the space.

Guest have access to the whole house minus one small supply closet. We have 2 acres with open space to play catch or soccer. There is a sitting area out on the patio with a grill and firepit.

We live just 10 minutes away and are always available when needed.


The farmhouse is located in a settled part of Afton and is not secluded. Although on 2 acres there are neighbors around. Our son is living in the guest cottage on the property.q
