Pyrgos Exclusive Villas is a charming complex comprising 4 villas, each offering 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a maximum capacity of 5 persons in each villa. Nestled within this complex are magnificent two-bedroom villas, each providing an extraordinary view of the mysterious Libyan Sea. These elegant rural villas offer guests a breathtaking vista of the Libyan Sea, creating an impression that Africa is just a stone's throw away. The famous village of Plakias can also be admired from these villas, as there is nothing to obstruct the panoramic view of the infinite blue sea in the southern part of Crete.



Perched on a hillside, Pyrgos Exclusive Villas enjoy a privileged location that will captivate every visitor seeking awe-inspiring sea views and relaxation. These villas are situated a mere 2 km from the renowned organized sandy beach of Plakias and approximately 3 km from the village itself.



The interior decor is characterized by simplicity and minimalism, while the outdoor areas offer great comfort. The villas are visually pleasing from all angles, inviting guests to relax in the living room or by the pool, where they can never tire of gazing at the blue expanse of the southern sea and its romantic sunsets.



Each villa features a one-story layout. Upon entering, you'll find a living-dining area, an open-plan kitchen, and a modern shower/WC. In addition, there are 2 bedrooms—one with a double bed and an en-suite shower/WC, and the other with 2 single beds. All bedrooms are equipped with individual air-conditioning units and flat-screen TVs. Each room has direct access to the veranda and the pool area. From there, a staircase leads to a spacious shaded patio with a barbecue and spectacular views.



The pool at each villa measures 18 sqm. These villas are licensed by the National Tourism Organization.



The Area:

The surrounding area is blessed with some of Crete's most beautiful beaches. The nearby renowned beach of Preveli, with its unique palm forest, and Damnoni are just two of the exceptional options. Majestic gorges, historical sites, and cultural attractions can also be found in the vicinity.



The picturesque village of Plakias, located just a few kilometers from Rethymno, offers numerous tourist attractions. It boasts a wealth of taverns, restaurants, bars, mini markets, car rental agencies, and outdoor activity providers.

Amazing villa, beautiful holiday

Such a beautiful location, the most amazing views, surrounded by tranquility and sunshine. The villa was spotlessly clean, the housekeeping team were amazing. The pools are perfect. We had two teenage children, and they loved it! The verandas and outside dining area is perfect. You definitely need a car, but it is worth that small journey up the hill, to stay in such a special place. The agent was more than helpful when we called him, out of hours, as we got horrendously lost in the dark on arrival. The only thing I would say is that as there are 4 villas, there should be defined parking spaces as it was quite tricky to park without being in the way of others. So in conclusion, if you want to escape the rat race, breath and relax, these villas are perfect. We will definitely return - thank you so much

Tolles Ferienhaus mit unglaublichem Ausblick

Das Ferienhaus hat eine tolle Lage im Berg oberhalb von Plakias. Man hat einen unglaublichen Blick auf das lybische Meer. Innerhalb weniger Minuten ist man in Plakias, hier gibt es alles, was man benötigt. Die FerienhĂ€user sind so gebaut, dass man viel PrivatsphĂ€re hat. Im Haus gibt es alles, was man braucht. Die Außenanlagen mit Pool ist toll gestaltet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ging immer zĂŒgig und war sehr freundlich. Toll wĂ€re lediglich noch der Hinweis, zu welchen Uhrzeiten es den Room- und Poolservice gibt. Wir kommen jederzeit wieder gerne und können das Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen!

Tolle Aussicht, tolles Objekt!

Wir hatten 9 tolle Tage in diesem tollen Objekt! Nach einer etwas komplizierten Anreise - enge und verwinkelte Bergstraßen - ĂŒberzeugte die wundervolle Sicht auf das Meer und die absolute Ruhe. Inneneinrichtung passt, Service (Reinigung, neue HandtĂŒcher) ebenfalls. Mit dem Auto nach Plakias sind es 10 Minuten, hier gibt es tolles Essen und alles, was man braucht! Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub, wir wĂŒrden es definitiv wieder buchen.

Am Ende Erholung pur

Die HĂ€user wurden in der Zeit zwischen der Buchung bis zum Bezug umbebaut. Die Fotos auf der Homepage entsprachen nicht dem aktuellsten Stand. Der Innenenbereich wurde verkleinert. Die PlatzverhĂ€ltnisse in den Badezimmern sind sehr knapp. Der Aussenbereich wurde aufgewertet. Leider wurden wir darĂŒber nicht informiert. UrsprĂŒnglich waren die SchlafrĂ€ume auf 2 Stöcke verteilt und es hatte SchrĂ€nke um die Kleider zu verstauen. Wir reisten zu dritt als Familie, dafĂŒr reichte der Platz grade aus. Als Mieter muss man darĂŒber informiert werden. 1 Tag nach unserer Ankunft wurden die Fotos auf der Homepage geĂ€ndert... :-( Diese Bilder entsprechen nun dem aktuellsten Stand. RĂŒckblickend hatten wir dennoch 2 wunderschöne Wochen an dieser Traumlage mit herrlicher Sicht verbracht und sind froh darĂŒber, dass wir wĂ€hrend Corona ohne Tests und grössere EinschrĂ€nkungen Ferien machen konnten und gesund zurĂŒckreisten. Ein Auto ist unbedingt nötig TĂ€gliche Reinigung des Pools, 2mal wöchentlich Innenreinigung mit Handtuchwechsel. Separate BadetĂŒcher fĂŒr draussen. Das Angebot an umliegenden Tavernen ist sehr gut, z.B. in Plakias, Sellia, Myrthios. Anmerkung am Rande In jeder Taverne gibts nach dem Essen einen Raki mit FrĂŒchten etc. Ein Willkommensgruss des Vermieters mit Wasser, Wein o.Ă€. wĂ€re eine Idee fĂŒr die Zukunft.. ;-)

Ideale Location fĂŒr einen romantischen Urlaub zu Zweit

Super Lage mit phantastischer Aussicht und traumhafter Ruhe . Guter, fast zu umfangreicher Service. 5 min von Plakias, ein schöner Ort mit Strand, Bars und Tavernen. Souda Beach ist auch ganz in der NĂ€he und sehr zu empfehlen. SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten wie der Palmenstrand Preveli oder der Hippieort Matala sind gut zu erreichen.

Tolle Lage, einzigartiger Blick

Wir haben die Zeit im Haus genossen und uns wohl gefĂŒhlt. Beim Check-in wusste ich zum GlĂŒck von vorherigen Bewertungen, dass nur der SchlĂŒssel steckt. Das war ok fĂŒr mich. Was ich nicht wusste: wie man die Klimaanlage in Gang setzt. Man steckt den Chip, der am SchlĂŒssel hĂ€ngt, in das Fach neben der EingangstĂŒre (wie im Hotel). Dann funktioniert die Elektrik.

Fantastisk udsigt

Imponerende udsigt SkĂžn villa med rammerne i orden, hvis man vil bo lidt afsides byen. Huset er helt nyt, hvilket gĂžr at det lige mangler de sidste finish, sĂ„som badeforhĂŠng og andre smĂ„ detaljer. Selvom der var to andre lejligheder, fungerer det godt med privatliv, inde som ude. Hyggeligt med gĂ„ture i bjergene og udforske naturen. Masser af fĂ„r og geder som gĂ„r omkring og rovfugle som flyver rundt. Alt i alt en en skĂžn beliggenhed med den flotteste udsigt👍👍 Bestemt et sted vi kan finde pĂ„ at besĂžge igen

Hele ruime villa met droomuitzicht

Prachtige Villa op een top locatie. Het uitzicht is adembenemend en de eigenaar is ook heel vriendelijk. Wij hadden een late aankomst ivm late vlucht stak de sleutel gewoon op de deur mocht de eigenaar al slapen. De dagen erna kwamen we niets tekort er kwam iedere dag iemand voor schoonmaak en nieuwe handdoeken te brengen. Het is een prachtige omgeving waar je veel kunt zien en doen maar het is ook geen straf om lekker van het zwembad bij de villa te genieten.

Traumhafter Blick!!

Die Ferienwohnung liegt einfach schön in der NĂ€he von Plakias am Hang und hat somit einen wunderbaren Blick ĂŒber das Meer! Die Ausstattung ist auch absolut in Ordnung und die GrĂ¶ĂŸe der Wohnung reicht auch fĂŒr 4 Erwachsene und ein Baby. All in all also wirklich super Unterkunft. WĂŒrde ich jederzeit wieder buchen!

Fantastic view of Plakias

Overall this is a lovely villa, the views are amazing and we had a great time. We love walking, but we feel a car is essential where the villa is situated. Both Selia & Plakias are easy to reach although we prefer Selia for the lovely 3 restaurants that are up there. The villa was well kept and clean, the sheets and towels were changed every couple of days and the pool also cleaned out often. We really wanted to give 5 stars but there were just a few minor issues that we encountered, the main one nobody was there to greet us on arrival. Knowing the area well, we knew where the villa was but not which one (there are 3). We found the keys in the door of one and assumed it was ours! There was no note inside or any contact number (local contact), all it would take is a typed up note of welcome with a contact number, maybe a bottle of water too. There were 4 of us staying but there were only 2 sun loungers outside, 2 teaspoons and not much other cutlery. We did, with the help of the housekeeper, obtain 2 more beds from another villa. The outdoor clothes rack is not big enough for 4. When 4 people are staying it would be very helpful to have another set of keys for the property, so if the other couple want to go and do their own thing they can. The safe had no instructions and it appeared to be one of the 'standard ' digital type, however after calling Oreo travel and getting the owner (?) out he explained it locks from a manual key attached to the main house key/electric card. The thing is to access the safe you have to take the electric 'card' out (safe/door key is attached to the electric card and don't think you can separate) so while in the safe the electric goes off and when dark you can't see a thing!! All in all just very minor issues and nothing that put a damper on our stay. Would highly recommend the villas. Missing the view already!

Fantastic view, excellently equipped villa

The two of us stayed 6 nights and wish we could have stayed much longer. The brand new villa is well equipped in the kitchen, and everything worked fine. We were puzzled by the washing machine at first, because we don't read Greek, but eventually understood it. The location is fabulous! Yannis recommended a couple of places to eat but we only made it to Elia in Sellia, which was so good we went no further. The daily pool cleaning and housekeeping was the only intrusion, and the neighbourhood was very quiet. We hope we can return some day soon.
