Fully renovated, it is a charming apartment with all the mod cons and the necessary equipment. The house linen is provided and changed each week. Located a few steps away from the market, near the Cours Mirabeau, you have all the shops nearby. Possibility of parking if you wish so.
In additional to this town full of charm, you will be able to visit our magnificent region.
The nearby towns are worth a visit: Marseille with its old harbour and all its lively districts is 30 km away,
Avignon, 'the city of Popes'.
The whole French Riviera is accessible by car. Cassis with its harbour and its famous coves is 40 min away, then there is Cannes, etc.
Saint-Rémy and Baux de Provence must be visited

Location, location was wonderful and the lift was the best to have for a 3rd floor apartment. The market is out the door and Merabeau is steps away. Apartment was comfortable and kitchen was all up to date! owner left us fruit and excellent bag of coffee...much appreciated! We liked that the toilet was separate from the washroom and the washing machine was a plus. we felt like their could have been a few more bath towels and the bed pillows were very thin and not comfortable. we arrived late with no maps and wished there had been maps of Aix left in the apartment so we could start our next day plans since I had trouble with Googling maps on my phone. I would definely say with those few suggestions it would be a 5 star apartment. Very nice place to stay for a quiet, relaxing visit to lovely Aix en Provence!!

We just love Aix en Provence
This is our second stay at the apartment. It is located in the perfect location. Walking distance to all the cafes, pâtisseries and restaurants. The apartment is clean and well maintained, and the owners are wonderful and helpful with suggestions on places to eat and see. We will be back to this beautiful area of France and always stay here. Highly reccommened.

We were lucky to have found this place. It has everything you need, and it is ideally situated, minutes walk from Place des Prêcheurs and the cafés and restos around and especially the morning markets and boulangeries. Cr Mirabeau is a short walk away. I booked it to take my mother to visit Provence, and she has some difficulty walking, so the location was fantastic, and the apartments are served by a lift/elevator with just a few steps to navigate, (if you know the old buildings of Aix, you know that this is a not so common amenity!). Henri & Lise were welcoming and gracious hosts and their help made the stay even more pleasant. I would happily recommend this place to friends and family.

lovely, spacious apt.
The apt is great and the location wonderful. Lise is very friendly but disorganized. Our reservation was not fully honoured but she did arrange a hotel for our last night and helped move us there.

Perfect!
A wonderful and beautiful apartment, very spacious and clean, in the heart of historical Aix. Markets are less than a block away, and all of the interesting parts of town are within walking distance. The hosts are welcoming and extremely helpful.

The location could not be better. You are steps from the market. There is an elevator which is helpful when shopping. Do be aware that the owner does not speak much English so questions you might have are difficult if you don't speak French.. That said ,Henry went out of his way to help us get parked and settled. .We stayed a month and we were just two people. It would be fine for a short stay but it would not be suitable for four adults if you intend a longer booking . We really enjoyed our stay here. I would definitely rebook

A great location in the old city
I never forget I am guest in another country and do not expect or want the place to be Americanized I write this review to help others. We are an older couple who love to shop the open markets and cook in most evenings. In that respect the place is perfect. It was clean and pretty well equipped for cooking. Also having a parking spot (about 10 minutes away)was invaluable. The owners are nice and wanted us to enjoy their apartment however we did have difficulty conversing with them but again they speak the language of their country and our French is weak at best. I would offer these suggestions to help things goes easier for guests. Have 2 sets of keys available, a few instructions on the stove and oven, someone who can speak English available in case of emergencies, written communication about the availability of a person to clean (who did a great job). I hesitate to mention another issue because the owners have no control over it but if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke this may not be the place for you as the smoke from the apartment next door comes through into the bathroom and is quite noticeable when the smokers are there. It’s not a huge issue and the location makes up for a lot again this is not the owners fault. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Also appreciated the wine and flowers left for us.
