Nahil #6 is a beautiful and comfortable, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo right on the beach of Akumal's Half Moon Bay. This is a well equipped modern condominium that makes feeling at home easy. Modern amenities throughout add to your enjoyment. The view from Nahil 6 is one of it's best features. This upper level unit enjoys a big beautiful view of Half Moon Bay. From your terrace you can enjoy the soothing view of the sea, and even the turtles, birds and other sea life in the bay. Morning coffee has never been so enjoyable!

The open concept floor plan in the living, dining and kitchen area gives you unparalleled views no matter where you are. Your private patio is furnished with a sitting and dining area.

The Master suite with its own en suite bathroom enjoys the same glorious sea views. Whether you are lying in your king bed, or having a cocktail on your private terrace, you will find it hard to tear yourself away from the view of Half Moon Bay.

The guest bedroom has its own en suite bathroom, jungle view and a private balcony. This is the perfect place to read a book, catch up on some much needed alone time, or watch the sunset.

A short 5 minute walk to the north you will find Yal Ku Lagoon, a popular snorkeling area in Akumal. Get your tropical fish and turtle book out so you can identify all the different species seen in the lagoon.

Located just one hour from the Cancun International Airport, between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, Akumal is a quiet residential beachfront town famous for its turtles, small community and quiet evenings. Nahil Condos are located a short walk from Que Onda Restaurant, La Lunita Beachfront Restaurant and close to La Buena Vida Bar and Restaurant known for its swings and tree houses. Known for its calm bay areas and water sports, Akumal is also in close proximity to famous Riviera Maya cultural attractions and other beachfront cities.

Paradise in Akumal

Wonderful space/atmosphere, very clean, and great location that had minimal sargassum compared to the rest of the bay. As beautiful as the pictures show. Convenient parking, great 24 hour security, and a special thanks to the amazing ground keeping crew and Fatima the maid. We’ll equipped kitchen and even though we had our own, the unit’s snorkeling gear was a real plus! Made our stay in Akumal very enjoyable!

Ultimately a great place with one major flaw

The place was just as describe. Very clean and very comfortable. One major problem and a big enough problem that I would not stay again: There is a unit above you. All the floors are tile. The unit above, both occupants and housekeepers, constantly pushed chairs/furniture around scraping the floor. This was intensely loud to be under. This problem could easily be solved by requiring all furniture (even patio) to be on a rug or have pads on the legs. When you have people traveling from all over the world, you’re not always on the same schedule. The unit above us seemed to like to move chairs late in the evenings and would wake us out of a dead sleep, very unsettling. Please know you are about 20 minutes from Tulum. We actually preferred this little community as it was much quieter. However, all of Tulum as well as this area are very expensive. Limited grocery supplies. Even the huge grocery stores in town did not seem to have quality food. We thought we would prepare some meals at home, but ended up eating all meals out. Restaurant prices are outrageous. Something to consider when working on your budget. It was great to have housekeeping service everyday. The beds were comfortable. The snorkeling right out front was great. The beach is rocky but a little sand to relax on. The pool was taken care of and clean but wayyyyy too many chemicals, we stayed out. Two great restaurants you can walk to. One across the street and one a little walk down the beach.

Beautiful stay in Akumal

We had an amazing trip to Akumal…Nahil 6 was perfect for our group! The condo has everything we needed and more. There were incredible views from the balcony full of comfy furniture, a beautiful beach and a great pool! We were in walking distance to delicious restaurants and could walk to a lagoon to snorkel and could even snorkel right in front of the condo. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and hope to be back soon!

Great location, awesome view

I had a wonderful time at the property. You can`t beat falling asleep with the ocean sound in the background and the view in the morning is breathtaking. The apartment has everything you need for a great stay, even snorkles to go snorkling. Highly recommended! You need a car though to get to Tulum or Playa Del Carmen !

Relaxing by the beach

Loved the small number of units, never had to fight for a spot by the pool. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. A couple of good restaurants within walking distance. Yal Ku lagoon 5-7 min walk. Decent snorkelling right in front of resort. One minor issue with the hot water tank failing but it was fixed promptly

Our stay was perfect! place is amazing and has everything you need, the view is absolutely breathtaking. The beach is a rocky (not a complain ) so take water shoes, overall great experience and would definitely come back !

Perfection!

This condo was exactly what we were hoping for and even more. All of the pictures are accurate, it was well stocked, the beach was great, the pool convenient and there was just enough to do in Akumal to not get bored. Below are the things we loved and just a couple of tiny things to be aware of... Love: --the location. Right on the beach, walkable to restaurants and bars, easy access to snokeling with the turtles and scuba --the security. The staff were wonderful from check-in to cleaning it everyday. And there was nighttime security on the property. We tipped the cleaning person everyday - she def earned it! --the actual condo. It had everything we needed: beach towels, great beds, comfy pillows, enough glasses/silverware, basic cooking supplies, disinfectant for veggies/fruit, huge bottle of purified water, TVs for movie night when the kids were exhausted. With 4 people we never felt crowded. And the balcony view was amazing. --the beach. It is maintained every morning, there is a path into the water and the snokeling was great in the bay. --the parking. Very easy and conveninet for loading in groceries and suitcases. --Akumal itself. We were not looking for crowds or clubs. We enjoyed the restaurants we visited (esp LBV up the street - the kids would swim to it.) but never felt like there were too many people around. --the easy COVID testing. The staff arranged for them to come to the condo: quick, easy and professional. Super minor issues: --If you need an elevator, you should stay on the first floor. This condo is on the 3rd and you will get your steps in. The elevator could be unpredictable. --It is the tropics and there is going to be mildew. The bed linens could use a strong wash to get the smell out a bit.

A slice of paradise

A group of twelve of us were in Mexico for my son’s wedding and stayed in four of the condo units at Nahil. After making it through the ordeal of Cancun airport, we all breathed a sigh of relief when we arrived at Nahil. It's like a sanctuary with the beautiful garden in front, then the most spectacular ocean view out back. Our condo, Unit 6, was gorgeous and clean – it had everything we could possibly need and immediately felt like home. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the view and the hammock. First thing every morning, we would open the doors to listen to the sound of the surf and to feel the ocean breeze. It was heaven. We felt deprived when we came back to our own home, which does not have a view! The shoreline is rocky, but there were water shoes in the condo to help navigate entry. There were also some kayaks and paddle boards for guest use. Like another reviewer said, there is a small coral reef system right off the shore. The pool area was perfect, especially after coming back to the condo from a day of sightseeing. A note about the Sargasso seaweed: Nahil is in a charmed spot due to a sandbar/breakwater off the shore. We were there towards the end of July, and even though many other beaches in the area were covered with seaweed, the beach at Nahil only had a small amount. Akumal Beach is a quaint town with great restaurants and shops. Many of the restaurants (La Lunita, Lol-Ha, La Buena Vida) are right on the water. Another one with amazing seafood was La Cueva del Pescador – while not on the beach, it has a beautiful setting. Most nights we just walked to dinner down the little beach road (still not even sure what the road is called!). We bought some groceries at the Walmart in Playa del Carmen, but the general store in Akumal has a really great selection and fair prices. We charted a catamaran out of Puerto Aventuras, which we highly recommend. The company we used was Riviera Maya Catamarans. This was a dream-come-true for many of us and surpassed our expectations. We were sad to leave this little slice of paradise. Don’t know if we’ll ever be back this way, but if we do, without any doubt we would want to stay at Nahil.

Relaxing Stay

The property was nice and well maintained. Nice view from the 3rd floor balcony. We had a couple of minor issues that I am sure they will fix for the next guest. The Water heater worked intermittently. When it worked at all, your choice was scalding hot or completely cold. Fortunately the cold was bearable so we just took cold showers. We did report it and the guy came to look at it immediately, and we thought he fixed it, but I don't think he really understood the problem. The elevator did not work, but it was only 3 floors and we would have taken the stairs any way. Only reason I mention this is for someone that is disabled.

We had a wonderful time in this comfortable, spacious, and beautiful apartment! The views are better than you expected. The pool is amazing and the daily cleaning service (free) is great. The beach is beautiful, calm and almost private! The location is 30 min from Playa del Carmen or Tulum, both with great restaurants and entertainment! I highly recommend this place

Fantastic condo with stunning beachfront view of the Caribbean

What an incredible home base for our Akumal vacation. The condo was just as beautiful as shown in the pictures, the grounds, pool, and beach front were enjoyed on a daily basis, and the condo was peaceful and quiet. The staff was incredibly helpful although we needed nothing as everything we needed was there and working perfectly. The cleaning staff were amazing as we returned to an immaculate condo everyday, and the location made it easy to walk to Yal Ku, Lumita restaurant, the Buena Vida, etc. Not to mention there is world class snorkeling off of the beachfront right beyond the lovely pool which, while I love the ocean, it's nice to enjoy some fresh water lounging after a day of diving. Thank you Nahil no. 6! We had a spectacular time.
