This restored and repurposed one-room schoolhouse is lovely. There is a large kitchen and livingroom, bedroom, and bathroom with modern features. Moreover, it is exceptionally well-appointed with a full kitchen that has high quality appliances and accessories. The location is ideal for traveling around central Oregon, particularly the Willamette Valley. We visited wineries (Willamette Valley Vinyards is one of the nearest and highly recommended), along with various waterfall hikes that were within 45 minutes in all directions. There are great restaurants in the region - again in all directions, and particularly in McMinnisville, Albany, and Corvallis. If possible, don't miss the Saturday morning farmer's market in Albany and the Friday night pizzas at Ankeny Vineyards.What made the stay even better was the hospitable owners. Steve and Ronda were extremely friendly, helpful, and very prompt in responding to questions and giving advice to improve our stay. We highly recommend this location.
