This very private cottage is situated on a quinta. It has a spacious beautiful garden with a bbq area and a safety fence that can be closed if you come with small children. The pool is shared with 2 other studios and 1 villa.

The separate bedroom has 2 single beds next to each other. In the living room, you will find a sofa bed for 2 persons (140 x 200).

## Neighborhood

Located in the peaceful area of Montinhos da Luz, the centre of Luz with all its shops, restaurants and facilities is just a stroll away. The historic centre of Lagos and award-winning golf courses are just a short drive away!

Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.

## Transit

There is a bus stop nearby the quinta from where you can travel to Lagos. You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

Fantastic stay near beautiful village of Burgau.

Very nice and neat apartment ( nr 5) with lovely morning sun and good heating during chilly evenings in February. Good equipped house very near the lovely coastal footpath along the cliffs to Luz and Burgau.Beach is only 5 min on bicycle!

Wonderful, quiet, clean and pleasant

Our host Karolina was very pleasant and friendly. The cottage was adorable. The location was between towns, Burgaus and Luz. We easily walked to one and could have taken a longer walk to the other. Beaches nearby were lovely and the cliffs spectacular.

A Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay in Quinta do Liberdade. The cottage is private and spacious and equipped with everything you need. The host, Karolina is very helpful and always on hand to help with any queries. Due to the area the cottage is located a car is essential, although there is a local bus which is not that regular. Lagos is about 30 minutes away by car which is where the Intermarche hiper, Aldi, Lidl are located. We would like to return.

Very accommodating host. Furniture was adequate but a little basic. The duvet covers were twice the size of the duvets which was confusing! The bathroom and shower were excellent.The photographs on the website do not represent the slope up to the property and the fact that the main house is at a higher level than the cottage. We did not use the pool. It is very close to the other rental properties with not much surround.

Hübsches Cottage an der wundervollen Algarve

Der Aufenthalt im Cottage hat uns außerordentlich gut gefallen. Die Begrüßung sowie der Kontakt waren sehr freundlich. Das Cottage ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es war ruhig und komfortabel. Die Umgebung (Steilküste und Nachbarort Burgau) sind gut auch fußläufig zu erreichen.Kleiner Wermutstropfen: ein paar ältere Staubflocken und Spinnenweben haben wir beseitigt und wir konnten kein deutsches Fernsehprogramm empfangen.

Paraíso cerca de lagos

Ya llevamos 3 años alojándonos en quinta da liberdade y volveremos el próximo año. La casa en perfecta con parrilla terraza amplia y una piscina a 1 minuto caminando. Está muy cerca de lagos luz y burgau que te permite ir a los pueblos y a la playa. La calidad precio es muy buena y están disponibles en todo momento para solucionar cualquier imprevisto. Seguiremos volviendo todos los años que podamos!

Appartamento dotato di tutto ciò che può essere necessario, lavatrice e lavastoviglie con detersivi, olio aceto e altri condimenti, capsule x il caffè e zucchero x i primi giorni; magnifico patio esterno dove pranzare e cenare con barbecue. Doccia esterna. Piscina favolosa e per noi abituati al mediterraneo indispensabile per godere a pieno la vacanza visto il freddissimo oceano Unico neo:è un po’ piccolo il divano letto ma ripeto casa magnifica e supervisione consigliata!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft zwischen Burgau und Luz

Sehr schönes kleines Häuschen (cottage) in kleiner Anlage. Perfekt und ruhig gelegen, um die Algarve zwischen Lagos und Sagres zu erkunden. Manche Möbel sind vielleicht erneuerungswürdig, ganz kleine Reparaturen auch ausstehend, was aber den schönen Gesamteindruck nicht trübt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft empfehlen.

Nice and quiet

The apartment is spacious and equipped enough to ensure a comfortable stay. Enough space for things and relaxation. Comfortable beds. Kitchen with sufficient equipment, we did not complain about the lack of something. The owner is very nice and polite, offers advice about the area and available attractions. The decor of the apartment may be a bit old-fashioned, but the furniture is comfortable and functional. The bathroom is quite large, and probably requires a slight modernization and cleaning of some nooks and crannies. However, overall our stay was pleasant and we didn't really complain about the quality and the rental price is very reasonable. A convenient place to park the vehicle next to the apartment. It's a bit outside the village and you might need a car for shopping or going to the beach.

Fabulous cottage

The cottage was perfect for our family, a lovely spacious and comfortable place. It remained cool during the heat of the day, and there was plenty of shade on the patio. The location was good with easy (driving) access to multiple beaches, a different one each day. The host, Bryan, was fantastic, relaxed, helpful and available. The pool was crystal clean and refreshing. The play equipment was enjoyed by the children.
