I rented the little boathouse but they gave me the big house instead. It was so BIG. I used the zacuzi tub every night. The bathroom was huge. The bedroom upstairs was the length of the house and there were skylights all through the bedroom and bathroom. My son & his wife came over with firewood and we roasted hot dogs & marshmallows in the firepit outside. I sat on the dock every day with my coffee. My son showed me Canada from accross the river and I could watch the fairy take people to Canada. They call it walapole island which is where all the Indians live. I wanted to go to Walapole island my family wanted to go to Harsens Island and that was fun. From the house I I could see large freighters pass through Harsen Island and come out further up the river. The house was fully stocked with dishes, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotions. I wanted to use the fireplace but we didn’t have anymore wood. I loved the house. I loved the big windows all facing the water. I loved all the books and games at the house and there was an interesting painting that captured my attention. I took pictures of it and sent it to all our friends. The only complaint my husband had was there wasn’t a luggage holder for his suitcase in the bedroom downstairs. If he would have said something sooner I could have found something to put his suitcase on. On my last day I found out my favorite chairs by the sliding door are massage chairs. I really loved this house. I hated to leave.
