Great hotel for price and location
This hotel exceeded expectations. It is centrally located across from the food market. The street next to hotel is packed with bars and restaurants and further down is the famous mushroom street. Breakfast was very good with range of juices, teas and coffees, breads, cheese and meats. Hot food included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages. There was lots of lovely pastries such as almond cake and fresh fruit. The room was incredibly clean with maids attending everyday. If you had to be picky the shower wasn’t powerful but it did the job and I liked the bonus of a bath.

Poor tv
Great stay hotel very clean room with a nice bath. Only let down was the tv, couldnt cast to it and only bbc news in english. Just one more thing didnt get free bottle as promised

I am writing to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent stay at your hotel. To begin, I was informed upon arrival that I would be transferred to another hotel due to the unavailability of a room. Unfortunately, the room I was given at the alternative location had no view except for a wall directly outside the window. This lack of a pleasant view significantly impacted my overall experience. Furthermore, I was disheartened to discover that my room did not include a coffee machine. As a coffee enthusiast, I had explicitly requested a double espresso each morning. However, instead of receiving the quality coffee I had hoped for, I was provided with a subpar alternative. The coffee served in a carton cup was clearly not an espresso, and it seemed to have been made using a cheap machine. This fell far below my expectations and left me feeling unsatisfied with the level of service provided. Adding to my disappointment, when I reached out to the receptionist to express my concerns and inform her of my intention to make a formal complaint, she displayed a complete lack of concern or willingness to address the issue. This lack of attentiveness and professionalism further exacerbated my frustration and dissatisfaction. As a loyal customer who has stayed at your hotel before, I had high expectations for my recent visit. Unfortunately,

Exceeded our expectations
We booked this hotel on the recommendation of someone we met on a previous visit to Alicante. The hotel is conveniently placed in the centre of the city opposite the central market and the bus stop for the excellent C6 bus to the airport (1.90 euros for two if you are over 65!) Our request for a quiet room on an upper floor was met with a lovely room with a view of the castle and a glimpse of the sea. The reception staff were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly a credit to the hotel. A small issue with the cable to the hairdryer in the bathroom was promptly resolved and the room cleanliness was excellent. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as there are numerous cafes in the vicinity who will provide you with toast and coffee for 2.50 euros! Mish Mish is a favorite about 200 metres down the hill towards the harbour. For lunch a visit to IL Ponte or Sampa Picnic are top of our list. A visit to Alicante is not complete without a visit to El Gosto del Gourmet, excellent food and a very warm welcome from Nuri.

Modern renovated premises. Great bed in a good size room with a large bathroom. Well located in Alicante’s city center. Hotel is understaffed what affects customer service in general. No working cafeteria or bar available although there is a bar with a big espresso machine in the lobby.
