The luxurious holiday home with sauna and whirlpool and large garden is a modern interpretation of the tradition of the Black Forest house, as it was found in the northern part of the Black Forest. An elongated, purist building, with no eaves and flourishes.
The house is a semi-detached house and has 2 identical cottages with a total of 320 m2 of living space in both houses. The house has 160m2 per house which you book here.

The interior design continues the concept consistently. Dark floors and natural wood contrast with the plain, white-plastered ceilings and walls.

Integrated in the living and dining area are on two levels, the view of the countryside is also possible from the back of the building and through the generous corner windows, the view into nature is made possible. Large wooden terraces extend the living space into the outdoor area.

Schönes Haus fĂŒr einen kurzen Aufenthalt

Wir haben ein verlĂ€ngertes Wochenende zu Acht in diesem Haus verbracht. Das Haus war sauber, schön und funktional eingerichtet und bietet einen guten Ausgangsort fĂŒr AusflĂŒge und Wanderungen. Die einzigen Negativpunkte sind die billigen Matratzen und das in dieser Preisklasse keine HandtĂŒcher und Bettlaken inklusive sind. Zudem war die Verwaltung beim Check-in nicht erreichbar, so dass uns die Reinigungskraft vor Ort eingewiesen hat. Im großen hatten wir aber eine sehr gute Zeit geben 4 von 5 Sternen!

Familienweihnachten im Traumhaus

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus, auch fĂŒr eine große Familie. Sehr komfortabel mit Sauna, Whirlpool, schönem Ambiente. Auch bei technischen Problemen war sofort jemand vor Ort. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Kontakt mit Verwaltung und vor Ort war sehr freundlich. Haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Kleiner Mangel: Zugang zum Garten mit den SpielgerĂ€ten etwas rutschig. Ferienhaus fĂŒr grĂ¶ĂŸere Gruppen oder Familien ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen👍

What you see and read is not what you get

We had a pleasant stay at this property, but we did find much of the information is misleading, so I would suggest reading this review if you are interested in renting. On the plus side, it is modern and clean and it has a great setting, but I would highlight the following: 1. There are actually 2 houses and the pictures on the website show both, so only half the pictures will apply to the house you hire. A previous review mentions only one house has the garden shown, which is true. The other has a modest patio and use of shared garden that is not practical to use. 2. In my opinion, it is suitable for 2 families not 3. Two of the “bedrooms” are on mezzanines within the double bedrooms, so unsuitable for young children as they cannot safely access them and older children as many parents will not want them sharing the bedroom. 3. There are only 2 parking spaces and the additional parking is at the pool 290m away down a very steep slope (not 200m), but we parked there without any problems. 4. The pool is not free as indicated, but it is not expensive and suitable for families. 5. The upstairs shower in our house became blocked with every use as the drain is too small, so we mostly used the towels to deal with the water spillage. 6. On arrival, we had to pay a “refundable damage deposit” in cash together with the tourist tax. It took 17 days, 3 messages to the owner and a call to Owners Direct to get the deposit refunded. However, it should clearly state the utilities will be deducted from "refundable deposit", albeit this is mentioned in the small print, especially as it represented a large part of the deposit. It is lucky we have a Euro account to receive the refund. 7. Be prepared for additional costs to the price shown on the website. 8. The tourist tax is meant to provide some free services, but there is no explanation, so we could not access them. 9. While the advert states the nearest bar is 2km, it was rarely open. We could not find the restaurant that is advertised as 1km away. Most likely, you will need to walk 3.3km to the town for bars and restaurants. I would not discourage anyone from renting here with the above foresight. However, had we known, the cost was much more than similar properties. Also, I prefer complete transparency upfront on costs and I do not expect to have to wait 17 days and chase for a refund of my money.

Nice semidetached house. Not good service

The photos of this house are spectacular. Reality is good but not so much. We were two families dreaming of the huge garden where we had barbecues and having our children playing football all week. When we arrived we had the first surprise when we realized that the house is paired, not isolated, that information does not appear on the website. The second surprise came when we saw that although it is a nice house, it is not up to the photos. Good photographer!! the third was the worst, when we saw that the huge garden of the photos, although they told us it was shared, when they showed it to us, it is not next to house 1, it really belongs to house 2, if the occupants of house 1 use, as recommended by the owners, would be greatly invading their privacy because it is next to the living room and kitchen of the house 2. The garden with which we had dreamed from our reservation did not exist !! We decided not to pay the extras until we spoke to the owners to ask for an explanation of why this information does not appear on the web, and it hadn’t been shared with us in the numerous contacts we had had. The owner took care of us with a very unkind, rude tone and laughing at the arguments we exposed and giving us the option of going to find another house, if we did not like it. We have traveled a lot and this is the first time that an owner treated us with such disdain. We asked him to come to the house to talk to us directly to find a solution and pay the deposit and extras. It did not come in all week, we were surprised with the customer service offered by this house. A service-oriented owner, would have come to the house to try to dialogue, offer us a solution and if it could not be, an apology, and at the same time have charged the deposit and extras. We were very disappointed. The house is beautiful, but if you have a problem, do not think that you will be treated with kindness and service. I hope that this review serves to publish the announcement with the real data and benefits of the houses they offer, without misleading information. The first photo that appears, only corresponds to one of the houses (house 2). If you are going to rent this house seduced by that beautiful garden, make sure it is house 2 before going, if not, they will not pay any attention to your complaints for their lack of information. We should create a homeAway website based on honesty, good service and responsibility of all parties. If one of this fail, everything fails
