The check in staff helpfully arranged breakfast to be delivered to my room as I had to leave before service began in the pub; and the morning staff quickly arranged a taxi when I realised that the Saturday bus times were different than weekdays.

Very nice and comfortable hotel in a great location. The rooms are very nice and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom's are nicely appointed and the shower was excellent. The breakfast included with the stay needs a little attention and management, as over the three days of my stay, it was quite inconsistent. The poached eggs I could have used to play golf with, and you are only served half of a slice of black pudding, which I wasn't sure was for my health benefit, or cost reduction. Either way, it didn't send the best of messages and look. The pub has great food and is a great social point for gatherings. I would suggest the trash can outside the entrance door be emptied more frequently, as it was full and overflowing during my stay. It looked unsightly, and was never cleaned out. Overall, it's a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Fabulous place to stay!

Such a lovely place to stay & feel we’ve stumbled upon a hidden gem that was located in lovely surroundings and very easy to find. Just perfect! The rooms were well kept, contemporary & smelt divine, with all amenities & really nice to have fresh milk too! Also loved that you could replenish things yourself if you needed. Beds super comfy too! We are on both nights & food was of a good standard. The staff, in particular on Saturday evening were so friendly, making the customer service stand out. Good choice of breakfast & speedy service. I would highly recommend a stay if in the area - they really go that extra mile to ensure you have a great experience.
