This was a great place to stay. It’s somewhat retro and reminiscent of days gone by. Our room was a spacious junior suite that was comfortable and quiet. The property was pretty and we had great views of the mountains from our patio. We enjoyed the restaurant on site, all the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the shower head that only put out about as much water as you’d get from a low pressure garden hose. It made washing long hair quite a challenge. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again.

The only drawback is that the casino is a little smoky. Otherwise, Longstreet is an ideal stay! It is a lovely & quirky property, with a pond, a chapel, a pool, a convenience store, and a nice cafe. It is handicap-friendly. One of our favorite things is the animals: feeding the ducks, petting the casino cat, and admiring Ollie the water buffalo. And on this visit we even got to watch a pair of owls in the evening! We appreciate that the property is only 30 minutes from Death Valley. Longstreet is dog-friendly, and in the cooler season you can drive to the adjacent Ash Meadows where dogs are allowed on most trails and even on the boardwalk!
