The hotel is beautiful and very clean throughout with many unique touches. The staff were all friendly, professional and well trained. The food at their restaurant for dinner and breakfast was delicious and beautifully plated! The Speakeasy bar is unique with great service and a fun way to gain entry from the prohibition days. We stayed at the Barfield for our anniversary, which my husband told them when making dinner reservations. The staff put a floral arrangement at our table with a happy anniversary card from the staff. Several of the staff wished us a happy anniversary. Alexis, our server, was amazing and made our experience that much better with her attention to detail and kindness. Highly recommend the Barfield Hotel and Toscana Italian Steakhouse restaurant. It is an experience everyone should have many times!

Very cool hotel, pet friendly, great food, our dog Thor was welcomed to all the areas of the hotel (understandably not the Restaurant) but the downstairs hidden Speakeasy was a highlight for us and Thor! Definitely will stay again!

Really nice stay in Amarillo - my only complaints are that our trash can in the room was not emptied upon arrival and it was EXTREMELY noisy all night. To be fair, it was a saturday night. Otherwise, nice property.

Downtown Amarillo hotel

This was our 2nd time to stay at the Barfield. It is definitely the best place to stay in Amarillo and we appreciate that the downtown area is very walkable. The front desk recommended the new rooftop bar upon arrival. Although the cocktail menu was creative the service was very slow and it took a while before we could order food. Our room was quiet and comfortable and will stay again but may skip the rooftop bar next time.

We stayed at The Barfield for the first time this past Sunday night to break up our drive from Dallas to Angel Fire, NM and really enjoyed the comfort and style of this beautiful hotel. All of the staff we encountered were wonderful and the room is very modern and comfortable. We enjoyed it so much that we are considering staying there on our way back.
