Refurbished to a very good standard Oaks Retreat is a spacious and stylish apartment all on one level, offering excellent facilities for a self catering break. The thoughtful owners who live adjacent have provided a lovely bed and mattress dressed with quality duvet and linens to ensure a restful nights sleep and a shower room with power shower to sooth those aching limbs. The sumptuous leather sofa offers the chance to snuggle up and take in a film or catch up on the soaps whilst the covered patio area will enable you to holiday outdoors when our typical Lakeland weather will allow!

Comfortable and clean accommodation with every thing you could possibly need.

Comfortable and clean accommodation with every thing you could possibly need. Very spacious for two people and with a lovely covered verandah for the summer months. David the host was very friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the sofa. Smart TV i the living room and a smaller tv in the bedroom.Close enough to walk into Ambleside and its bars, pubs and restaurants in 5 minutes. Perfect accomodation

Positioned 10 minutes walk from Ambleside town centre in a quiet area with views of the fells. Parking on site and a good bus service in Ambleside so the car is not needed to get about, Short steep incline from Ambleside to the accommodation but quite doable.Accommodation compact, ideal for a couple with quality fittings and everything you need. Patio to sit out on when the sun shines with garden furniture. Owner lives above the apartment and is very friendly and helpful without being intrusive.Would reccomend

Cosy flat in a great central location

Had a lovely week in the lakes using Whinrigg as a base . Clean comfortable and cosy accommodation with great shower . Hosts were great
