Amlwch's mediaeval harbour was a thriving port and is now a popular tourist destination. Beautiful sandy beaches and spectacular cliff top walks are all around this lovely island. A day trip to Snowdonia or a trip to Dublin from the nearby port of Holyhead are all options for visitors to the wonderful mediaeval town of Beaumaris.
