We would highly recommend this hotel - modern, clean, polite and attentive staff. We would particularly like to commend the restaurant staff - food was varied and delicious, the staff customised food for us at times and were incredibly attentive. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 3 nights at Taj Amritsar and had an amazing time there. The most important part that made our stay pleasant was the staff, starting with doorman, reception, housekeeping and dining staff all made sure we had a hassle free stay. Special shout to duty manager Khuswant Singh, chef Ajay,Mukhtiar, Amandeep in dining. Gurinder Singh in housekeeping going above and beyond everyday. The property is clean and beautiful, the rooms are overall clean but can use some more detailed cleaning. Buffet breakfast can improve with more continental options and desert section. Kid friendly meals would help tremendously. Rooms should have smart TV in this day and age that's almost necessary! These are just some suggestions, nonetheless we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Impeccable service. A high security VIP was also at the hotel at the time of our stay and additional restrictions were placed on the hotel. But the staff went above and beyond to ensure that none of the guests were inconvenienced and provided excellent service. I was able to make all arrangements for our stay over email well in advance of our arrival. Airport pickup/dropoff and arrangements to tour the city all went to plan and without a hitch. Taj is flag bearer of excellent service and Taj Swarna has more than lived up to that reputation.

Everything about the property was great except for the beds. It was one of the worst beds I’ve slept on and gave both my wife and I back pain. Kind of ruined the experience since we left both with back pain.

Staff most ordinary and least helpful Have stayed over 35 years in about 50 Taj properties all over the world This was worse in practically every aspect - indifferent staff , attitude below average and least concerned staff This hotel and staff is damaging the Taj Brand and am going to give this feedback to both Top Hotel Management and your Taj Board
