It's very basic, and its a bit of a pot-luck what room you get. In this case, we had a room downstairs at the back, which has open windows upon a street. Anyone walking by therefore can look inside the room which is not always the easiest. It would make sense, IOO, that windows are partially blinded out so it makes it 'feel' a bit more private. For the rest, location wise, its fantastic. We didn't have the breakfast, so I can't really comment on that part, but, we did find it a bit disconcerting that their key locker, in essence to be used after 20:30-21:00, can be used by anyone, because when we arrived, our names where displayed on an A4 above the key-lock box, with instructions how to open and extract key to the assigned room....

Much improved from our last stay which was in a “cosy” room. That was small with and uncomfortable bed. This luxury room was a good size with a much larger shower room. It was on the ground floor on the road and there was some noise at night but this was not a major problem. The new breakfast facilities were very good. We will stay there again.

Second time here, loved it even more!

We got the studio, which was a very spacious, new room, with fully equipped kitchen, which served us well. Room service cleaned our room, always refilled missing items without having to ask for example tissue papers. The staff was kind, being pregnant, I asked for a well-done omelette, and they made one for happily. Excellent breakfast with many options, pastries, and drinks. The hotel was close to the train station, as well as two major grocery stores. Easy transport to any place we needed. This was our second time, and we will definitely come again!

This hotel has the most welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast is amazing and Weesp is a wonderful town with great restaurants and just a 15 min train ride into Amsterdam

Small, pretty town outside Amsterdam, just off the motorway between Utrecht and A’dam, little problem parking and nice selection of restaurants.

Booked a “cosy” room, not really knowing what that meant. The room was very small and not at all cosy. The bed was uncomfortable and the absence of carpets made the building very noisy when guests were moving around in nearby rooms. On the third night there was a bright light on all night outside our window which even came around the blackout curtain which made sleeping even more difficult. We did mention these things to the staff in the morning as there is nobody on reception at night. We are likely to return but would upgrade the room, or book a studio directly with the hotel.

I really love the check-in box, it was so convenient. I also appreciated how easy it was to get a hold of someone when I needed it. The bathroom walls were a bit dirty when I first arrived, and though they came to clean the bathroom after my first night, I’m very sure they didn’t touch the bedroom at all. I’m not sure if this is normal or not for a hotel in NL, but it wasn’t the best to come back to an unmade bed. When they said room service daily, I was expecting the bed and such to be part of that. The rooms also have very thin walls, so other people are very audible. It can be really distracting. The staff are really helpful and kind, and check-out was incredibly smooth. Overall, I really liked this place, and would come back if I were to find myself in the area again.
