Good hotel, wonderful breakfast, great location! There was a lengthy delay in getting the room ready, I didn’t have access until around 4pm. There was no special service recovery effort.

We had an incredible stay at a most wonderful hotel in the center town close to everything! NH Collection Amsterdam Flower Market offers bigger rooms than average Amsterdam hotels at a fair price and ours had not one, but two balconies to appreciate the city and canal views!. The staff were super friendly and so attentive to all our needs. We appreciated the daily complimentary water and free drinks in exchange for forgoing room cleaning. We would stay at this hotel again!

The website completely misrepresented the room class. The room had a much lower cueling and had a garage roof atop the windows so it was perpetually dark. The next room they put us in was much the same with obvious moisture issues. The room ventilation was above the bed so we had sore throats after 1 night. The wallpaper was awful and looked like it was a defective run with ugly misprints going thru it. The elevator was falling apart and looked dangerous with a large metal band meant to hold down carpet bent up in the air. We finally complained enough to get the room advertised but at the cost of getting sick and a lousy night sleep.

Wonderful friendly staff. Our family room was nice and spacious and very clean. Great central location to walk to places and also near the metro and trams to go further afield. Will be rebooking when we return to Amsterdam!

Normally hotel rooms in the EU are limited on temperature adjustments, but should at least be able to alter it a degree or 2. Or allow the fan on the unit to run. The room was 74 degrees Fahrenheit - high temp for homes. After a few requests they brought a loud standing fan. Not a very green solution for as conscious they want be. Loud bars across the street and lots of traffic if you're on the street side.
