The Enclave of the Popes and Grignan with its botanical diversity and the Château de la Marquise de Sévigné also await your visit. On the other side of the river stretches the southern part of the Ardèche and lies the mountain village of Rochemaure. Besides a spring and a 12th century castle, this ancient village is equally famous for the Pic de Chenavari, an extinct volcano with a unique panoramic view all the way to the Vercors mountain range. A little further north, the unspoiled valley of the Ibie extends to Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, the gateway to the magnificent gorges of the Ardèche.
