Welcome to Coquina Cottage B! Coquina Cottage B is exceptionally located at the northern end of Anna Maria Island, just steps away from gorgeous Tampa Bay. Enjoy panoramic water views from this three-bedroom, upper level, two story duplex home across from the calm waters and playground amenities of Bayfront Park. Walk to catch the free trolley, shop on popular Pine Avenue, dine on delicious local seafood, or fish at the Anna Maria City Pier or the Rod and Reel Pier and Restaurant.
Only 4 blocks to Bean Point beach, considered one of the most spectacular of the island's beaches! Enjoy the views of the bay and the night-lit Sunshine Skyway bridge from the screened-in porch, then enjoy the brand-new heated pool out back.

EXTERIOR

A large deck out front is screened in and has two ceiling fans, with outdoor dining area for four and lounge area. The stairs from the screened-in deck lead to a pathway to gated pool area with grill. The landscaped backyard features attractive outdoor lighting, and a new heated pool shared with the downstairs renters. There are two parking spots assigned for this property. Stroll down to the end of Pine Avenue (0.3 miles or 6 minutes) and grab the free Island trolley to venture farther afield. For fishing and dining, Coquina Cottage is in between and a short walk (0.3 miles or 6 minutes) to the Rod and Reel Pier and Anna Maria City Pier. It is a pleasant 9-minute walk (0.5 miles) to Bean Point.

INTERIOR

The keyless front door on the porch deck leads through French doors into a combined dining and living area with a generous amount of comfortable seating. The living room includes a large TV with cable, wifi, and landline telephone. The small kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher and has a second keyless entry access. A guest bathroom
features a standing shower and combined washer / dryer. The master bedroom with separate bathroom and shower / tub combo has a plush king bed, while a second bedroom has a plush queen bed, and spare bonus room has two plush extra-long twin beds. This property welcomes any day arrival and short stays for the months of mid-August
through January. Other months require manager approval for non-weekly rental. Coquina Cottage is pet and smoke free. Please keep in mind that you are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. Quite hours and pool is closed at 10pm.

There are two parking spots assigned for this property.

This property welcomes any day arrival and short stays for the months of mid-August through December. Other months require manager approval.

The pool heat is included in your stay for reservations between October to April. Pool heaters in private homes are locked for your safety and controls must not be tampered with as they are monitored by the pool company. 86 F is the highest heat temperature setting which might not be always reached. Please note if cold days and nights occur, water temperatures will drop and may stay cooler longer. Pool heaters will not operate and will automatically shut down if outside temperatures get too cold. While we take every precaution to ensure that pools are heated as specified, weather conditions may affect the temperature of the pool. Nothing can be done about this issue. Outdoor spas are not hot tubs and require heat at the additional cost. The temperature of a spa is typically set at the same temperature as the pool. In the event of pool equipment malfunction during your stay, Duncan Real Estate will expedite repairs as quickly as possible. It may be necessary to close swimming pools for maintenance purposes. No refund or rent adjustment will be made for circumstances beyond our control, malfunctions, or loss of use of equipment or amenities.

Wonderful vacation rental. Just steps to the beach. Very nice beach decor inside. Fully stocked with everything you need. Large living and dining area. The fully screened front porch was our favorite hangout. The pool patio area was nice and relaxing. There isn’t anything I found wrong with the property. We even had a rainbow on our first night there. We are already planning our next getaway to this property.

Average Stay

Our family of 4 stayed for a long weekend. The outside of house left a lot to be desired but matched the pictures so we were not surprised. There was construction on the lot next door and newer homes around it. The pool seemed new and very well maintained. It’s on the smaller side so if the downstairs unit is using it at the same time, you will feel just how small it is. We lucked out and seemed to be on a different schedule than the other renters. We were very excited about the view across the street. However, the park was open to the public and the public came to throw a party. One in particular was blasting music all day long on Sunday. We could hear it inside the house ALL day. Very annoying. Also, the renters next door had young children that were loud. They were in their pool by 8am and we could hear them in our master bedroom. So sound was an issue. Inside of the home was decorated nicely. Very few provisions provided but it was all spelled out in the guest book. The AC had trouble reaching the bedrooms so we were hot at night trying to sleep. No ceiling fans either. Floors creaked, doors had trouble Closing and the refrigerator didn’t close easily. Needless to say, the house was clean. Master Bath should be reconfigured. Tiny counter with no storage space. Big open space btwn toilet and shower. You should consider adding another vanity. Washer/dryer combo in 2nd bathroom was a plus. Bring your own detergent. Pluses = 3/2 with space, semi-private pool and water view!

Sunrise to Sunset

The cottage was perfect for our escape to Anna Maria Island. The 3-bedroom upstairs accommodations were clean and adequate for our 1-week stay. The front porch was the perfect location to hand out for morning coffee and to watch the sunrise and sunset each day. The location was just a short walk to the pier and trolley pick-up. The pool was beautiful and gave us a wonderful place to hang out when we didn't want to go to the beach (on the other side of the island). Having bikes to get us around the island was the best choice. Restaurants were close enough to walk or ride to. Our stay was wonderful from sunrise to sunset in April 2023.
