Welcome to the Manatee 1BR Suite 🦭 of AMI Beach Lagoon on Anna Maria Island!

In our luxury resort (12,500 sqft) located right on Vista Lake we offer three separate ground-level apartments with a large outdoor area that can be rented together or separately. Enjoy the privacy of your own entrance, fully equipped kitchen and outside seating area under a pergola or spend time as a group at the large, Mickey Mouse-shaped, heated saltwater pool or spa.

In this 1-bedroom rental configuration, the lakeside bedroom and the corner bedroom of the full 3-bedroom suite remain locked and are not rented to other guests. You will have the entire unit completely to yourself; all outdoor areas and shared amenities (pool, spa, dock, kayaks, putting green, seating areas etc.) remain available for use by guests of the other suites as well. Absolutely no smoking.

Our lakefront property is situated at 604 North Shore Drive, a prime location in Anna Maria, close to Bean Point. The most beautiful part of the white sandy beach is only a few steps away across the street.

Go fishing, observe manatees or use one of our kayaks for a trip from the private dock on Vista Lake right behind the house. Spend precious time with your family while enjoying a barbecue or lounging in one of several outdoor seating areas.

Guest amenities like grills, pool, spa, putting green, giant chess, beach carts etc. are in place and ready for use.

Our apartments (that can also be booked separately) are:

The Turtle Suite – 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 sleeper sofa (sleeps 2)
The Manatee Suite – 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 sleeper sofa (sleeps 6)
The Pelican Suite – 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 sleeper sofa (sleeps 6)

The Turtle Suite (front house facing North Shore Drive) has one bedroom, the other two units, the Manatee and the Pelican Suites (rear house facing Vista Lake), have three bedrooms each. Although each unit has its own private terrace/patio/pergola with private outdoor furniture and grill, there are plenty of common areas like the pool deck, giant chess board, putting green, dock on the lake and kayaks that can be used by all guests.

Inside our smart home, the bright open living, dining and kitchen area features vaulted ceilings and a modern interior displaying original island photography by the owner. The design is uncluttered and elegant, free of decorative clutter or themed décor. In this configuration the master bedroom with king bed is available. Bathrooms are conveniently located for easy access. Cable TV service is not available. All television content is provided via streaming apps and local over-the-air HD channels.

High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and pool deck. A washer and dryer are provided for guest convenience.

After a sunny day at the beach our private outdoor showers are a welcome possibility to cool off. Take a dip into the large heated saltwater pool or relax in the shade under the pergola. The pool temperature is preset to approximately 80 °F, the spa to 99–100 °F. The spa heats up within 15–40 minutes depending on outdoor temperature. It can be activated daily between 1 PM and 10 PM to allow proper pool heating and filtration time. Operation cannot be guaranteed during very cold weather or in case of equipment failure. Pool and spa heating are provided as complimentary amenities and do not constitute grounds for refund or compensation in the event of limited operation or downtime.

Our ground-level suites with wide doors and low-threshold showers are handicap-friendly and welcome guests of all ages. To make your stay even more comfortable, we constantly maintain and renovate our property and provide you with all amenities of modern living like high-speed Internet via Wi-Fi, private dishwashers and full-sized washers and dryers.

Outside air temperature and humidity in Florida can reach very high levels during the summer months. Air conditioning and smart thermostats maintain a comfortable indoor climate year-round. To ensure reliable performance and to prevent coil freeze, mold formation and system shutdowns, temperatures can be set to cool no lower than 72 °F in summer and to heat up to 78 °F in winter, based on manufacturer and service technician recommendations.

You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping noise to a respectful level. Please be mindful of loud music and loud voices or activities, especially around the pool area. Excessive and unreasonable noise is prohibited by local ordinances and can deprive people of the peaceable enjoyment of their private property. Due to local noise ordinance, pool/spa equipment must shut off between 10 PM and 8 AM.

Preventive pest control is performed regularly; however, due to Florida’s warm and humid subtropical climate, occasional insects or small lizards may appear indoors despite best efforts. This is a normal occurrence in this region and does not constitute grounds for refund or compensation.

Due to health issues in the owner’s family, pets, service or emotional support animals are not permitted on this private property under any circumstances. This includes visitors of guests. Any pet found in or around the property will result in expedited eviction, forfeiture of all payments and liability for specialized cleaning and any resulting damages. This policy is not about disliking animals – it exists solely to protect our family’s health. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The parking lot, pool equipment, pool/spa area, kayak racks and lake view are under video surveillance with motion-activated recording. Of course there are no cameras inside the buildings.

The property was completely renovated in 2021. Environmentally friendly solar roofs were added in 2022 / 2024.
