Ideal for family stays located in the centre of Appleby with easy access the National lake District to restaurants, bars, shops and cafes. The house is opposite a park, farm and river. 600 meters away you will find a medieval working castle and one of the oldest churches in England. Relax in style in this beautiful English village with everything you will need to have a fabulous English holiday.

This fabulous Grade ll listed property is steeped in history and was built as the Appleby Grammar School Boarding House, it is a large building and George Washington's male family members once attended and lived in this very house. Appleby is a must for all historians and visitors from the USA.
