Below the forest, a wide stream runs along the entire property. From the bastide, it is very refreshing to hear the water flowing. It is possible to swim there.
Numerous paths invite you to walk and explore the entire property.
Thanks to the shade of the hundred-year-old trees, you will not suffer from the summer heat. You can read, write, play, enjoy your aperitif or your coffee in the various spaces set up for this purpose under the majestic foliage. A 300 m2 terrace has been designed for all types of events: cocktails, weddings, birthday parties... Its fountain, its putti, its planters, its Anduze vases give it a discreet class. Its view of Apt and Mont-Ventoux will enchant you.
BASTIDE: Construction in the pure Provençal spirit. In the shade of the immense lime trees, oaks and hundred-year-old pines, which bring a welcome freshness and shelter for birds, the bastide with its blue shutters literally blends into the natural setting. It gives pride of place to minerals: its stone walls and round tile roof match in a chromatic range from pastel pink to the golden ochre of the Luberon earth.
On the south side, the large living room bathed in light gives visitors a view of the clearing, the forest and the upper field, which leads to the cave, through its large bay windows.
The exterior is a green extension of the living room, like a painting. The light walls, the large traditional fireplace and the distinguished furniture give the main room a warm atmosphere.
The library offers a wide choice of art, travel, cookery books, novels, comics... It is very intimate and you will enjoy enjoying a good whisky, while reading, sitting comfortably in this quiet place conducive to reflection!
The very bright kitchen has a view of the large terrace. It communicates with the back kitchen, the living room and the outside. Its large French window opening onto the tree-lined terrace, typical of Provençal properties, lets in a burst of light that is reflected on its exposed stone walls painted white and its gold mirrors. Golden bedroom: after a living room with piano, desk and library, the bedroom can be discovered, like a protective refuge. Its windows look out over olive trees on one side and a fig tree and the clearing on the other. This room shares its travertine bathroom (walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet) with the pink bedroom. Pink room: located on the first floor of the bastide, the very bright pink room enjoys a beautiful view of the terrace and the valley. There is a library with books for adults and children. Garden level: the common thread of this two-room apartment is the colour ochre, which recalls the chromatic universe of the ochre massif of Roussillon, a neighbouring village. The decoration is typical of old Provençal houses: terracotta tiles on the floor, exposed stones from local quarries, a stone bar and an old stone sink stack.
American kitchen and private bathroom (slipper bath, sink and toilet). One bedroom has a 160 cm wide bed and 200 cm long, the other is equipped with a trundle bed (2 x 90 cm, length 190 cm).
