The grounds and landscaping were beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is good, because there were several problems with my room itself (524) and other aspects of my stay. First, $10/night parking? Aren't I already paying enough for the room? Second, and I may just be stupid here, but it wasn't obvious how to even enter the room. The round sensor on the door did not respond immediately to a tap by the key card. I had to hold the card in place for 2-3 seconds before it was recognized. Third, the screen door to the balcony was off the rails and propped against the glass. Fourth, the TV cable was missing and the TV received no signal. Fifth, the chair at the desk was not very comfortable. Sixth, it's almost impossible to turn on the shower without getting a blast of cold water in the face due to the door configuration. Seventh, they kicked everybody out of the hot tub at 10:00pm, while we were still enjoying it. It all added up to not feeling like a good value for the price. I doubt I'll stay here again.
