The large dining kitchen is well equipped and perfect for sitting and chatting about the day’s adventures over a drink or meal. There’s also a separate living room with elegant fittings and three bedrooms all with sumptuous bedding to ensure a high level of comfort. There is Wi-Fi throughout the property, storage for golf clubs or bikes, off-road parking, and a spacious, private garden.

The quiet rural location is ideal for exploring the area – Arbroath is just 1 mile away with a good selection of shops, eateries, and seaside funfair. Visit Arbroath Harbour with fishing and boat tours, not forgetting to try the famous Smokies, and the Signal Tower Museum with its history of Arbroath lighthouse keepers. The pretty village of Auchmithie with its renowned restaurant serving local produce is well worth a visit or take a trip to lovely Lunan Bay (4 miles) with its stretch of golden sand and café, again serving locally sourced fare. Inland, the Angus Glens beckon the keen walker, while golfers are spoilt for choice, with many courses in the vicinity, not to mention Carnoustie’s famous Links. Wildlife is in abundance in the area, with RSPB Montrose Basin well worth a visit or for a more cultured day out visit NTS House of Dun or Arbroath Abbey for a glimpse into Scotland’s past, renowned for the Declaration of Arbroath.
