This hotel is very nice. The views from our room on the upper terrace were amazing. However, with that came the long steep walk up and down to get to the “bar” or restaurant. The room was very clean and ac worked great. You need to ask at the front desk if you want a hot pot and instant coffee for the room. The walls are kind of thin and we had a very loud group in the room next to us one night. The bar really is not a bar. It is a couple of booths in the corner of the restaurant behind a few curtains. The breakfast was very good. The food in the “bar” was just okay. Did not have the dinner buffet. With that being said we would definitely stay here again.

There were a lot of stairs to navigate with luggage from the car. The views however are spectacular. Breakfast would have been nice but the dishes were not replenished, so many items were missing. The property itself is stunning

As the name implies, set in Douro valley with great view of the river below. We used as a rest stop, with no touring. Beautiful location with nice sunrise and sunsets. Nice room, but steps to and from meals and pool. Best be fit to enjoy the area.

The property was breathtaking and the staff was very friendly, pool was amazing I would recommend grab a couple of snacks from supermarket like grapes and cheese but they also have food options, would also highly recommend doing a massage!

Great experience at the hotel/winery

Everyone was welcoming and helpful during our stay. The front desk set up a wine tour and a restaurant reservation for us, which we appreciated. The view from the room was lovely. A coffee option in the room would have been nice, but the breakfast buffet opens at 8 and had many options. The dinner buffet was convenient for a late night arrival.

The vineyard is truly beautiful. The scenery is outstanding and really adds the the luxurious feeling of this hotel. The bed was enormous, it was like having a whole double bed each. The food selection on breakfast and evening was good and not overly expensive. The only complaint would be the wait time on drinks by the pool, there was only one staff member to make drinks and sort food orders so we were often waiting a long time for drinks. This was pacified by having two pools to cool off in and lounge by. I’d absolutely stay again.

Hôtel exceptionnel! Vue sur la vallée à couper le souffle. Le personnel est très gentil. La vue des deux piscines est incroyable. Les chambres sont parfaites. Le petit déjeuner buffet est copieux. À recommander: moment de bonheur assuré!

You must stay at this hotel!!! Breathtaking views! The breakfast buffet was amazing and we were able to eat outside while enjoying the picturesque scenery. The swimming pool was also great!

Stunning venue, great wine and easy transport from Pinhão station. Did the wine tasting and had a massage service. Both great experiences. Only minor issue was the limited food options, although one night the buffet included a BBQ which went down well.

Perfect location and outstanding service

Staff are so helpful, polite and professional. And the location is an absolute dream. I would recommend this to couples of all ages. But not large groups. It’s a peaceful and relaxed environment.
