This was my second time at this location and the view it’s amazing. my only recommendation would be to work on your breakfast options. I had my regular typical breakfast, but didn’t really like it. I also ordered pancakes and they were not good at all.

Highly recommended

Excellent stay with an amazing view. The location is perfect because it has the best of both worlds-right in the town, walking dustance to all of the shops and restaurants, but situated at the perfect vantage point to enjoy the gorgeous Corcora Valley. The breakfast was also really good.

Room not as advertised

The first photo is a screen shot of how the view from our room is advertised. The second is a photo of the actual view. If, like us, you were imagining lying in bed or the hammock looking out the window, or having a class of wine and enjoying the view, you won't be able to do those things unless you're comfortable with everyone on the patio seeing directly into your room. It was very awkward, and we were basically never able to have the blinds open. The third photo is what the room looks like when you take the view out of the equation. If was quite dumpy with Motel 6 vibes. Additionally, because breakfast is served on the patio, the room is very noisy as you can hear every conversation happening at every table. Even worse, if it rains the breakfast is served directly below our room and is even noisier. The hotel itself is nice, and I suspect if we'd had a different room we would have had a different experience. The included breakfast was good and the patio was a lovely place to eat breakfast and finally get to enjoy that view. Staff were friendly and helpful. I just wouldn't recommend booking that buena vista room. It's not so buena, and not worth the price! Other rooms (or other hotels) would have a comparable view without the awkwardness, or save some $ and get a room without a view and go sit on the patio!

The Mountain View is the highlight. I have never seen anything like it breathtaking. there was cleanliness from the room to the common areas. The breakfast was actually delicious and filling, and the staff exceptional.

TLDR: very poor value + the hotel is becoming run down. Our main complaints: very poor wifi, paper thin walls, pooling water in the bathrooms, hot water not working, bugs in food (details below). Our guess is this place got Instagram famous and stopped caring. We stayed at other hotels in Salento that have equally stunning views and are a much better value. We stayed here in early June 2025 for four nights (2 in a basic room and 2 in the junior suite with Jacuzzi). I'll start with our biggest issue, which was the hot water not working. We did a two day trek and booked a room with a Jacuzzi on the day we got back. We were looking forward to showering (for obvious reasons) and relaxing our in the Jacuzzi after a couple of nights in the mountains. No hot water for the first day. The friendly staff tried to fix it but couldn't. The next day it was fixed, and we asked the hotel if they could do anything to accommodate us. They kept making us talk to other hotel staff and giving us the run around. Finally, they said that of course they would do something, and late on our last day they said that the water was fixed, so there was no problem (essentially, there was no longer a problem, so they had done something). We explicitly asked for a partial refund or discount, and they said the manager would talk to us in the morning of check out, which he never did. We asked a fourth time and were told that they would not do anything, and it was their policy not to give any partial refund

A beautiful view, and lovely hotel

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. I upgraded to the presidential suite, which was amazing. Although it was more expensive than I was expecting to pay. I really enjoyed my time there. It was worth it! The views are amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable. I felt like I was in luxury. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to splurge. The staff was friendly and helpful. I couldn’t ask for more. The breakfast was amazing. A wonderful visit all in all.
