This holiday apartment for a maximum of 5 people is located in a detached holiday home in Arriach in Carinthia, between Lake Millstatt and Lake Ossiach, and close to the Gerlitzen Alpe ski area.

The holiday home is a typical Carinthian wooden house and is around 350 years old. The holiday apartment is spread over the ground floor and first floor of the house. It is comfortably furnished and has a spacious and well-equipped living/dining room, a living room with a wood-burning stove, 2 bedrooms (one of which has 3 single beds), 2 bathrooms, a covered terrace and a garden with garden furniture. You can park directly under the carport. Due to the rustic nature of this unique home, it is heated with wood (included) and there is no WLAN available.

Arriach is a small community in the Villach-Land district and is located in the border triangle of Austria-Italy-Slovenia. The mountains are within reach in Arriach, in the geographical center of Carinthia rise the Wöllaner Nock and the Gerlitzen Alpe. Hiking trails through the untouched nature and numerous cultural assets await here. In winter, Arriach is definitely worth a holiday; the Gerlitzen Alpe ski area with almost 70 kilometres of slopes and the well-known Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area with over 100 kilometres of slopes can be reached in around 30 minutes by car.

In summer, Lake Afritz, Lake Millstättersee and Lake Ossiach offer plenty of bathing fun!

Zuerst das Objekt: ein traumhaftes altes Bauerhaus in den Bergen. Es is wie eine Zeitreise.Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, ich weiß nicht was es nicht gibt. Die Vermieterin war super freundich und hilfsbereit und hat uns alles super erklärt. Obendrauf gab es noch ein Willkommensvesper bei der Ankunft.Top.Vielen Dank noch einmal für alles.

Het was een erg mooi en volledig uitgerust huis met een prachtige tuin. Zelfs een mooie plek in de tuin om bij regen lekker buiten te kunnen zitten.Het ontvangst was erg hartelijk en er stond iets lekkers klaar in de koelkast om ons welkom te heten. Mooie locatie wat hoger in een groen dal met een prachtig uitzicht en diverse wandelroutes en meren in de buurt.

Wunderschönes altes Bauernhaus in ruhiger Lage

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus bot alles, was benötigt wurde und als Willkommensgruß hat eine Platte mit kaltem Braten auf uns gewartet. Spiele für drinnen und draußen für die Kinder waren auch im Haus. Vielen Dank!

Wunderschöne Gegend, perfekt zum Entspannen

In der Unterkunft wurde wir freundlich empfangen. Die Zimmer sind wie auf den Bildern beschrieben, sehr liebevoll und urig eingerichtet, genau unser Geschmack. Ich würde wieder buchen. Die Kärnten Card ist zu Empfehlen, im Turismusbüro Arriach kann man diese erwerben, spart man viel Geld.Wenn man mit Teenies verreist, sollte man vorab wissen, das es KEIN WLAN gibt, Mama wusste nicht das es explizit in der Anzeige stehen muss und der Fernseher hat nur 8 Programme.

Ein sehr individuelles Ferienhaus

Es ist ein 350 Jahre altes Bauernhaus, zum großen Teil aus Holz. Wunderbare alte Holzbalken und Wände. Heizen muss man selber mit Holz. Das Haus liegt am oberen Ende (1110m hoch) eines weiten Tals unterhalb des Wöllaner Nock. Von Arriach sind es noch einmal 234m hoch. Nach Villach runter sind es ingesamt 609m. Es geht also ständig rauf und runter. Wichtig zu wissen: das Haus - weil so alt - hat kleine Fenster (je 50x50cm). Es ist also relativ dunkel drinnen. Beleuchtung gibt's aber genug. Im großzügigen Garten ist eine Sitzgruppe (Tisch mit 2 Bänken) und ein Holzhütte mit überdachtem Freisitz. Wir waren fast immer draußen gesessen, in der Sonne. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Gerlitzen gegenüber, die Julischen Alpen am Horizont. Das Haus ist sehr heimelig. Eine übervoll ausgestattete Küche, eine gemütliche Wohnstube mit Kachelofen. 2 Bäder, 2 Schlafzimmer. Space genug! Arriach ist dabei eine gute Basis für Ausflüge zu den Seen der Umgebung und in die Nockberge, oder nach Villach. Nicht zuletzt sind die Familien Mayerl und Baumgartner sehr zuvorkommende, hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeber, die man jederzeit kontaktieren kann. Wer eigenwillige alte Häuser in einer stimmigen Umgebung liebt, ist hier genau richtig.
