This property was comfortable and convenient to hikes that we wanted to try. The manager explained the nearby hikes, provided kitchen tools that we needed, and was generally very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!

Our cabin/unit was cute & cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Heating good & bed comfortable. The owner was very friendly & gave us plenty of information. Unfortunately the weather turned really awful with wind & rain so we were unable to venture out.

We stayed a night in winter. The room was cold. The heater took some time - many hours to warm up so it was a cold room. We resorted to drinking soup and hot water to warm ourselves up. There was a heated electric blanket which was a life saver at night. The room finally felt warmer the next morning. The room was clean though and that was great!

We have had the most amazing stay at Alpine Motel Arthurs Pass. Our host Fiona has been so lovely! She sorted an extra night accommodation for us, after snow canceled the transalpine train we were booked on. She provided us with a shovel so we could make Snowy the snowman and helped us out with anything we needed. Highly recommend this cosy home away from home.

The motel itself was comfortable and easy to find but the owners were wonderful. They let us borrow a baby carrier for our hikes as ours was front facing, which really helped us enjoy the hikes more as we left ours at home to save luggage space. Views were gorgeous and hikes were very easily accessible.
