From the time I was greeted till my bags were whisked into my car, I was treated with professional courtesy and personal care. I'm an elderly lady traveling alone and need extra help. I was given a downstairs room and treated with exceptional care. There were many extras in my room including a binder of the history of the Lodge built in 1907. Bon bons, water, instructions, pass codes, comfy bed and robe, and a helpful list of some of the 90 restaurants! Breakfast was incredible; starting with a fresh pineapple ring nestled in a berry confit and followed by a Belgin waffle infused with blueberries, warm blueberry syrup, and a ramakin of sausages. Plenty to eat, perfectly timed, warm and delicious! I felt like royalty. The Lodge sits om a hill within five minutes of downtown Ashville. I highly recommend this establishment.

Lovely stay.

Beautiful room. Luxurious bed. Owner greeted us as we were approaching the door. Breakfast was delicious and beautiful.
