This hotel is an oasis in the middle of a chaotic area on the Nile. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and it's staff. This is a top notch place to stay exceeding all of my expectations. The location is terrific, the rooms are oversized in the new wing, and boats are docked right at the hotel for taxi rides up the river. The ambiance is romantic and relaxing, with a spa on site. I will return to this one!

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed. Amazing view of Nile River, excellent service by the staff, beautiful and clean room with complete amenities.

A truly wonderful hotel

Pros: The staff are wonderful - caring, friendly, warm and helpful.
Cons: I would have liked a softer matress!
What's best about this hotel? The location is of course wonderful - the best in Aswan, the best location in Egypt perhaps - with wonderful views over the islands of the cataract, the feluccas on the river and over to the western desert. Or perhaps the room? We stayed in a Luxury Queen room in the new wing. It was vast: a bedroom, a completely separate lounge area with a large L shaped sofa, a dressing room, a kitchenette with facilities for tea and coffee, a dressing room, a huge bathroom and a large, shady balcony furnished with armchairs and a coffee table. Or perhaps the staff, who went out of their way to be helpful and friendly and provide whatever you need. Or perhaps the unearthly sense of calm and peace that pervades the hotel, the pool, the grounds, everywhere.
