I had an amazing stay at Athens Utopia Ermou! The location is absolutely perfect — just a short walk to the train station, close to all the major attractions, and surrounded by plenty of dining and shopping options. It made exploring Athens so easy and convenient. One of the best parts was the incredible view of the Acropolis from the top floor — truly breathtaking! With its central location, easy access to transportation, great restaurants, shops, and beautiful views, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Athens. Highly recommend!

Great location

The hotel is well located. The down side is the breakfast arrangement - very basic considering the nightly rate, the staff at the cafe / bar treated hotel guests as inferior.

I'll start with the good things. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The bed was excellent. The bathroom was clean and modern. It's a small hotel. It has about 5 floors, with 5 or 6 rooms per floor. The reception is just a counter, but the staff was very friendly. It has a small terrace where the restaurant is located, but it was under repair, so we didn't use it. The best thing about the hotel is that it's located on a pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants near Sygtagma Square. Now the bad thing: we traveled in March, and it's the cold season, so hotels in Europe don't have air conditioning, and you have to open the window. Because of this, you can hear the noise from the street and the bells of a nearby church. I give it a 4.5 out of 5. Don't expect a large hotel, and because it's a pedestrian street, the shuttles don't arrive right in front of the door. You have to walk a bit to where the driver can park.

Wonderful hotel! Bright, clean rooms. We were upgraded and had a fantastic view of the Acropolis. Breakfast was great! Would stay here again and recommend. Lovely staff too!

Boy, was I lucky to find this hotel... :)

I have been to Athens many times, over many years, staying in lots of places, ranging from hotels to Airbnbs, But ALL have been in Syntagma Square, as close to Ermou Street as I could get (and afford), because if you have not been to Athens, that is exactly where you want to be. What took me so long to find this hotel? I will absolutely be staying there every time I go to Athens. It's not just the rooms are fantastic - everything you could possibly need for comfort and convenience, not just the rooftop restaurant has a fantastic breakfast, and one of the best open views of the Acropolis, not just the location, walking distance to everything the city offers (including the tram, metro, airport buses, etc.) not just an extremely reasonable price for what you are getting, expecially in that location, but the front desk staff. I can not say enough about them. Our first two days we had Irene and Aggelos, last day, Leon.The level of kindness, efficiency, helpfulness, was beyond what we could have expected. They all went above and beyond to help us in so many ways, and always with a big smile. This will forever be my place in Athens, and I can't wait to return. Hugs to you all.

Awesome service

The staff was so kind and helpful. We were able to check in 4 hours early. Upon our departure day they ordered a cab for us very early. They upgraded our 3 rooms to get better views for free. You get vouchers for a free breakfast and they serve the most delicious chocolate chip pancakes. Picture included!! We had a wonderful experience.

Great hotel

Great hotel in the heart of downtown. Lots of shopping just steps away. The restaurant upstairs is amazing and I highly recommend it. All the main sites are just a 15 minute walk
