It's a beatiful house in a very quiet location, in a valley right by the sea. Trees and fields all around, the house is on a 2,5 thousand square meter piece of land, securely fenced. The eye can only see green all around. Relaxing chalet-like interior decoration with a fireplace. The large verandas catch the full sunshine all day long. The spot is great for walks and bike riding. The general area is a coast of approximately 20 kilometers, ideal for an enjoyable car ride or bike rides. A famous kite sufring spot (and windsurfing) is 5 minutes away by car. The surfing spot is beautiful as it is a wild life protected area around old salt pits. There is a sailing club in town for those who know how to command a laser sailing boat.
You'll find an excellent variety of restaurants in the area, from fish tavernas right on the beach to souvlaki, pork roasts, grills and a steakhouse. Fishing boats arrive in the harbour every morning with their fresh catch. The town has an open air cinema, great coffe shops and grocery shops selling fresh produce. If you like Greek yogurt you are in the right place, as the area has local sheep herds.
A ferry boat link in the harbour will take you in 20 minutes to the island of Euboea and the town of Eretria which is directly opposite. Great food, long walks and nice beaches await there, along with the historical interest of the very important ancient city of Eretria, which also has a museum.
