Get away from it all in the heart of Hocking Hills at this owner operated Liberty Log Lodging cabin. You will not find a better location in the area if you are looking to explore the Hocking Hills State Park and surrounding attractions. This spacious but cozy log cabin provides a great family vacation spot conveniently located right between the amenities of Logan and the natural beauty of Hocking Hills State just 10 minutes from the brand new Hocking Hills Visitor Center at Old Man's Cave.

The main floor bedroom features a log frame Queen bed, with easy access to the main floor bath. A second queen bedroom is located in the basement along with a full bathroom and laundry room.

The large upstairs loft offers sleeping for 4 in beds(1 Full, 2 Twin) along with a fold down Queen size EZ lounger for extra room. There is a 3rd full bathroom upstairs. All linens and towels are provided.

The recently updated kitchen is fully stocked and features an island with bar stools. Sit down for dinner 'at home' at the dining table. The main living room centers around a real wood burning fireplace and TV with DirecTV. Downstairs you'll find the game room equipped with air hockey, TV, Queen size EZ lounger and table for games. There is also a toy chest for the little ones!

The cabin sits back off the road on 2 wooded acres, with plenty of parking. Kick back in one of the rockers on the front covered porch. There is a gas grill, charcoal grill and a fire ring so don't forget to bring the charcoal and smores. End the day relaxing on the back deck or in the hot tub which is located under cover, perfect for rainy days!

Whether your in town for some family time, hiking, a golf outing, or to just get away from all the hustle and bustle at home, this is your place! We love the Hocking Hills and have hiked all the area trails and visited most of the area attractions so please feel free to ask us for recommendations- we want this to be a vacation you'll remember!

Cabin in the Woods

Location is convenient to Hocking Hills State Park. Each hike we wanted to do was only 15-20 minutes from the cabin. Cabin was comfortable and room enough for our family of eight. It would have been helpful to have additional information on the need to bring our own amenities like body wash for the shower, tin foil, plastic wrap, food storage containers etc. Also, we were not familiar with how to operate the hot tub or how to use the laundry.

Gorgeous cabin

We stayed here for a little family vacation with our son. The cabin had everything you needed and was in a perfect location. We enjoyed the game room, hot tub and fire pit. Did short hikes at Conkles Hollow and Old Man's Cave. Also enjoyed the petting zoo close by, that was our toddlers favorite! Definitely will be returning.

Ideally located around Hocking Hills most desirable sites. Communication with owners was very good. The cabin is in the woods and surrounded by trees but other cabins are a stones throw, so not exactly private.

Wonderful, Relaxing Stay with Everything We Needed

This house is true to the photos and descriptions provided on the listing. We visited for a weeklong family vacation and really enjoyed both the area and coming home to this adorable cabin. Even with neighbors close by, you can't see or hear them, providing great privacy. The house had all of the essentials and then some. Would definitely recommend!

Cozy getaway

Very clean, perfect for our family (4 adults, 3 kids), plenty of space & beds for all. Hot tub was awesome. I especially appreciated having a bedroom on the main floor since my knees don’t do well on stairs. Also, no stairs to enter the cabin. Plenty of towels, etc., for everyone and well stocked with trash bags and dish detergent. Grateful to have a washer & dryer; fireplace was very nice! We didn’t get to take advantage of the outdoor seating because of snow & cold temperatures, but the deck would have been nice to eat out on. Overall, we had a really great time at this cabin & I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to spend time in the mountains.

Great property

Cabin was great, they have all the essentials so it makes traveling and cooking easy. Only complaint was others left dog poop in the yard, that made cleaning up after our dogs hard. Dodging dog poop to try and clean up after yourself was annoying. But that’s a small issue, everything else was great and would definitely book here again.

We enjoyed our time at Liberty Ridge, and made beautiful memories during our stay. Our only complaints, is that there needs to be larger mixing bowls and pots and pans need replacement. The Teflon was peeling off on them. The temperature is impossible to regulate on each floor. Basement was freezing main floor good loft was hot. There definitely needs to be more seating in living room area. There was 7 of us, and only 6 comfortable seats in living area. Cabin was very clean. When I sent a message to Sarah, she was very prompt in replying.

Perfect!

Wonderful cabin, very clean, with all necessities provided for a comfortable stay. We had traveled from Florida to a very rainy weekend for our daughter’s wedding in Rockbridge. Perfect location and close to stores. We had some trouble with the door keypad but Sam with maintenance was very helpful. This cabin provided all the peace and relaxation we needed! Thank you!
